Very clean, nicely decorated, with a wonderful basket of organic goodies for our breakfasts and snacks throughout the week. The hosts Sam and Linda were very helpful in guiding us with the best routes to see the sights and recommended great restaurants.Hill City is a great central location to stay while vacationing in the Black Hills.
It was such a pleasure meeting the host and getting his recommendations for the area. Everything was exactly as it was described and it was the perfect location for all of our activities. Would highly recommend!!
Clean, quiet studio. Communication was excellent. The goodie basket was appreciated and used on our SxS adventure. There was plenty of parking for our pickup/trailer.
Hosts came by to greet us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. Close to downtown so we didn't have to drive far for dinner. Great location for visiting Mount Rushmore!
Property was exactly as described. VERY clean and peaceful. About 2 blocks from the sea, train, which was a delightful experience. Good eating and shopping in Hill City. Hosts were helpful.
San & Linda were great. Linda had a little welcome basket & Sam was the expert on restaurants & sightseeing. We felt very comfortable in r cozy room. So quiet & very clean. The bathroom was so roomy & I appreciated the nice shower after being in hotel rooms. Total recommend this place.
Room was exactly as described, very clean, and cozy. Host provided great advice on local thing to do in the area. The breakfast/snack basket that was provided had lots of good quality items to choose from and was delicious!

Great place...A good value for the price overall. One bit of feedback:We did find it a bit of a challenge navigating through the extensive access instructions and house rules. We weren't exactly sure about the check-in/check-out protocols. It seems that they both required in person interaction with the host (versus unattended check-in/check-out)
The room was clean. Beautiful property. Excellent friendly hosts. Ms. Linda provided a beautiful breakfast and snack basket. Only minutes from Hill City.
Very nice place, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host were friendly and very informed about the area. Would stay here again, highly recommend.
The stay had some really positive aspects. I appreciated the warm welcome, the thoughtful goody basket filled with snacks, and the trail recommendations, which added a personal touch to the visit.Unfortunately, there was also a disappointing situation that impacted the overall experience. While the owner had a strict set of rules and expectations for guests, there was no mention of birds on the property whose acidic droppings could damage vehicles. The owner chose to clean the droppings off my vehicle without my knowledge or permission, and the process resulted in damage to my vehicle. What was especially frustrating was that this was never communicated to me, until it was asked. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but I believe communication and transparency are important, especially when a guest’s personal property is involved. It was disappointing to have an otherwise enjoyable stay overshadowed by an issue that could have been handled differently. I hope the owner will consider informing future guests about this potential risk and communicating with them before taking any action involving their belongings.
Tom and linda were the best! We had problems on our way out with our vechike, and thought we were going to head back the next day. Tom gave us helpful information to stay for our full stay. The deer in the front and back yard made our days. We rented a vechile and had a enjoyable stay. Wouls highly revommendv.
