Start your mornings sipping coffee in a rocking char on the front porch. The kitchen’s got everything you need to whip up pancakes. There are a few different options for your coffee including, a Keurig Duo, for drip coffee or coffee pods, and a French press. Gather around the big farmhouse table for meals, board games, or late-night chats.

The living space is made for kicking back—whether it’s with a good book by the wood stove or streaming a movie under cozy blankets. The bedrooms are a quiet little haven with soft lighting and a rustic feel that makes it super easy to sleep in.

Whether you’re hiking nearby trails, enjoying a weekend unplugged, or just soaking in the quiet, this spot is all about slowing down and breathing a little deeper. Come as you are, and leave recharged.

•The master bedroom boasts a large king-size bed offering a peaceful night’s sleep, along with a stacked washer/dryer unit for your added convenience.
•The second bedroom features a cozy queen-size bed, perfect for additional guests or family members.

•Guests share a well-appointed bathroom with a single standing shower unit.

Living Space:
•The heart of the cabin is the cozy living area, where a wood-burning stove adds a touch of rustic charm. Enjoy the warmth and ambiance as you relax with loved ones in the comfortable seating area. Firewood is provided.

Heating and Cooling:
•Stay comfortable year-round with a mini-split AC/ heating system located in the main living area.
• Get cozy with the wood stove in the living area. Firewood is provided.
• There is a small electric fireplace heater located in the queen bedroom.

Outdoor Amenities:
•Embrace the crisp mountain air with our outdoor amenities. A firepit awaits, creating the perfect setting for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories, and stargazing on clear nights. Firewood is provided.
• Grill dinner on the small charcoal grill. Utensils are provided, you only need to bring your charcoal.
•The covered front porch, adorned with rocking chairs, is the perfect spot to watch the fog lift from the hillside.

Location:
•Situated just off the paved road, our cabin is easily accessible and strikes the perfect balance between retreat and convenience.
•During working hours, you may hear dump trucks traveling to the mine at the end of the street.

This cabin is about as good as you can get! The hosts have thought of, and provided, about any and everything you would need! Just bring your food and enjoy! The internet is incredibly good and streaming is flawless with the Roku TV. The wood stove was my main enjoyment! The cabin is easy to get to and the location is perfect for visiting area attractions or hiking. Do not hesitate to stay, you will be extremely pleased!

Peaceful and Perfect Mountain Stay

My wife and I loved our time at the Misty Pines cabin. It was exactly the quiet and idyllic mountain getaway we were looking for. The location is perfect for visiting so many of the experiences the area has to offer, and it was great to come back to this peaceful log cabin after our adventures. We'd probably never leave if we didn't have to!

The coziest little cabin that’s super clean and convenient to everything you could need! There is a bit of a zoo across the street with several roosters, but it didn’t bother us at all. Will definitely be booking this place if we are in the area again!

Clean and Cozy at Misty Pine

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean and cozy and perfect. The hosts contacted us once we'd settled in and asked if we needed anything, but we had everything we needed for a great stay in the mountains. It was also conveniently located, a short drive into Spruce Pine for shops and food (and Wal-Mart), and close to the Linville area for plenty of hiking. We hope to be back soon!

Convenient Mountain Retreat

Wonderful 3 days/2 nights stay at Misty Pines Cabin! So convenient to waterfalls, Mountain overlooks, restaurants and grocery store. Very clean and updated cabin decor. Very thoughtful hosts giving us a card and cider gift. We really hope to return again soon—Fall colors? Skiing? Can’t wait!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this cabin! My husband and I came down to Little Switzerland for our 5 year anniversary. Their is nothing I would change about this cabin. Very clean, has everything you need their plus more, great location, close to the gem mines/walmart, and Amber is GREAT! She made the whole check in and check out easy. This is the perfect cabin if your looking for a getaway with your spouse or family. Highly Recommend to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

THE PERFECT GETAWAY

I can’t express enough how perfect Amber’s and Jimmy’s cabin was! They responded with plenty of helpful information and quick to help answer any questions I had. This location…perfect! The cabin… perfect!! Cleanliness and cozy feel, PERFECT! Jimmy and Amber had plenty to do within their cabin, not to mention all the fun things to do close by. My honey and I cozied up by the fire pit outside on the property, which the firewood was already provided, and we watched the stars and listened to the sounds of nature. Again… PERFECT. I highly recommend their cabin to any couples or small families looking for a cozy getaway. I will be returning hopefully sometime very soon! Thank you again Amber and Jimmy! I’d leave a 10 star review if I could.

We fell in love with this quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The cabin has an nostalgic feel to it but is not too far out, making it easy to make a quick run to the store.

What makes this property unique

The cabin was hand built pioneer-style from logs harvested from the property and is not the standard manufactured log cabin. All the imperfections make it cozy and unique!
