This little cozy cottage was very clean and cozy. It had a comfortable bed and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was great to work with! We like to experience the culture when we travel. This cottage definitely had that Maine feel. The location close to the lighthouse was a great treat. A short walk to the lighthouse was perfect for repeat visits. As well as being close to the lighthouse, it was central to the whole coast. We easily drove to explore the peninsulas from Portland to Bar Harbor.Wonderful experience in every way.

The cottage was clean and had a vase with fresh flowers in it. It is a small cottage but, fine for 2 people. Even though it is close to the road, with all the flowers and trees feels secluded, which we liked. Nice little fire pit out back. Close to alot nice sites and nice beach a few mins away.

This is a very warm and cozy cottage! Very tastefully decorated. Beautiful flowers around the yard, with trails to walk around and find some special spots. We could hear the ocean waters in the bay in the evening! It was just what we were looking for, a get away from home to relax. Always love walking around Pemaquid point. You meet many walkers, people who live there year round and it is always great to stop and talk with them about their lives around Pemaquid Point. New Harbor area has many great places to enjoy. The Botanical gardens, with the Trolls, was a great place to spend a few to several hours, amazing flowers and plants, trails through the forests. Thank you to Janet, the owner of The Post Office Cottage!

Beautiful grounds, walking distance to bay, charmingly decorated. Comfy bed and couch. The space is small, but the owner has done all she can to accommodate modern comforts. Great location in relation to sight seeing around the whole area.

Adorable Little Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable little cottage. It is just the right size for two adults. It’s location is perfect for a relaxing getaway: near quaint harbor towns, Pemaquid Beach, and plenty of restaurants without ever feeling overly touristy. We would definitely stay here again.
