ABOUT 7 SPRINGS SKI and MOUNTAIN RESORT:
The major attractions are the winter sports available at this scenic mountain resort. Voted Ski Magazine’s #1 Ski Resort in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Seven Springs has 14 slopes for downhill skiing and 17 groomed trails for cross-country skiing. The widest range of terrain and lifts in the state of Pennsylvania are found here, along with 275 acres that are available for skiing, snow tubing, sledding, snowboarding and wintertime fun. The mountain features the front side, North Face area, separate beginner learn to ski area, and a well maintained half pipe and terrain park. Located inside the resort are bowling, miniature golf, swimming, game rooms and arcades and roller-skating. This mega resort also boasts a lodge, restaurants, bars, lounges, a shopping gallery and a movie theater. You will never run out of things to do while visiting Seven Springs – even if snow skiing isn’t your thing. If you visit in summer, the list of attractions and activities is equally as impressive as wintertime. Choose from mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, hunting and white water rafting. Golf is almost as popular at Seven Springs as snow skiing. A spectacular 18-hole golf course stands majestically atop the Laurel Mountains offering breathtaking views of the countryside. Anyone who enjoys a good game of golf will love spending time on this course. Dozens of other golf courses are also found in the surrounding area.
Although you could spend days happily at Seven Springs and never run out of things to do, the other areas of the Laurel Highlands region offer a lot for visitors, as well. Over a dozen state parks are here – including Laurel Summit State park which is a popular scenic area at an elevation of 2,739 feet with a breathtaking view of Laurel Ridge. A short drive takes you to Conemaugh River Lake and Crooked Creek Lake, which both offer fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking and hunting. The Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail is a 70-mile hiking and backpacking trail that follows Laurel Ridge from the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle to the Conemaugh Gorge near Johnstown. It’s open year round and there are eight overnight shelter areas along the trail.
If you are not athletically inclined and thinking Seven Springs might not be for you – think again. The area is a cultural and historical banquet. Visit historical sites going back to the French & Indian War, visit a museum or explore and photograph the dozen beautiful covered bridges in the area. The Laurel Highlands is a shopper’s paradise – overflowing with antique stores, arts & crafts, outlets, magnificent malls, and unique finds – even old fashioned general stores. When you get hungry, you’ll find everything from fast food to fine dining in the Seven Springs region. This is a jam-packed area of recreation and sightseeing for everyone and one of the most diverse regions found in the East.
While many activities are free of charge, please contact 7 Springs resort or the other places mentioned above for pricing.

About the host
Hosted by Elise Yanders
We have 4 children who enjoy sports of all kinds.
Our oldest 2 are grown and have moved away.
Our youngest daughter loves skiing so much that she has now joined her high school ski club and comes up the 7 springs with her school.
Our youngest son is gradually warming up to skiing and snowboarding. We hope that he will one day enjoy it as much as the rest of the family.
We have fun relaxing, cooking and watching our family have a good time at 7 springs.
We look forward to you making your own memories there.

Why they chose this property
Our family loves the outdoors.
There is so much to do on the resort and in the nearby communities that we knew that we would never lack for things to do with our group.
It is important to us that our children be active learners and learn to entertain themselves in other ways besides using electronic equipment.

What makes this property unique
We love the fact that 7 springs is so close to many areas but feels like a world away. It is truly the best sleep we have ever gotten.
We 1st traveled to 7 springs with a work conference and were instantly hooked. We contacted a Realtor to help us find our place as soon as we returned.
It was important to us to be on the resort premises for we did not want to miss a thing this great resort has to offer. Having the 24/7 shuttle during ski season is great. Having the shuttle stop just outside our door - priceless. We can also call for shuttle service as needed during non-ski season.
When we opened the door to 39 Zurich Way, we knew we were home.
Please note that to preserve the quality of our home, we only do short term rentals. It has never been occupied for more than 1 week. We treat it like our baby and continuously upgrade our townhouse.
We provide a pet free and smoke free environment.
