About this property

Palm Springs Hideaway

Quiet and serene location in the South Palm Canyon area of Palm Springs. Situated on the par three 7th hole of Indian Canyons North golf course. Close to golf, hiking, and horseback riding, a five minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. Property has been leased for several years and has just become available. We have furnished the condo with new and contemporary pieces chosen for casual comfort.

Pablo’s Hideaway, as we call the condo, was completely renovated a few years ago with modern appliances, fixtures, and a washer-dryer inside the unit. The complex was built in the early 1960’s and is well maintained, retaining the classic Palm Springs mid-century vibe. The condos are all single story and spread out, so it feels like entering a private home. There are three pools to choose from.

I have owned the place since 1988 and absolutely love the location. Nothing beats sitting on the south-facing patio late in the afternoon with a cocktail watching the shadows lengthen and colors change on the hills of the Indian Canyons as the sun sets behind Mt. San Jacinto.

The neighbors are mostly a more mature crowd and to be candid the complex is not well suited to loud parties. On the other hand, if you prefer a secluded spot to relax and enjoy the scenery, then look no further.

Beautiful spot in Indian Canyons
What really stood out was the location. It is right on the golf course with a view of the San Jacinto mountains for background

First Class: Serenity in the Canyon
The first two words that came to mind, and were reinforced throughout our stay, were "First Class." We totally enjoyed every minute of our stay and our host's diligence in getting the place ready for us was obvious. Everything was fresh, crisp, clean and much of it brand new. Cupboards were stocked with every utensils, dishes, appliances we could have wanted. The fridge/freezer is very roomy and cold, and produces plenty of ice cubes. The dishwasher worked great, as did the washer/dryer. The bed was very comfy, the bathrooms functional, the shower great (powerful and hot!), the living room with its comfy couch and huge screen TV a great place to unwind, and the patio the perfect place to enjoy the sun, the views, and the peace of the canyon. We were already familiar with the area and we're glad to see it hadn’t lost its charm. The feel, the vibe, the groove and the view are just like we remember! We felt very safe here. Our neighbors were most gracious in ensuring we had everything we needed. We enjoyed picking lemons, oranges, and grapefruits, and we made very good use of them. The pool and hot tub were crystal clear and we found ourselves alone to use them almost for our entire stay. We'd love to come back.
