We had an amazing stay. The home was beautiful and clean. The location was wonderful. The host was accommodating, helpful and kind. We would love to visit again!

This was our second time renting this unit. Two years ago we found it very clean. Our most recent visit Aug 2026 was very different. Couch, chairs, rug and throw pillows were filthy and extremely worn. The outside deck and grill were very dirty-not maintained. The screened in porch was full of spider webs. Unfortunately, we love the location and the setup of the house. Usually not one to write a bad review but something has changed.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great quiet neighborhood and has lots of thoughtful amenities for the beach as well as lots of great outdoor space. Indoor spiral staircase is fine for adults, but might be tricky for kids and older adults.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Could use a dehumidifier in the lower level as well as a way to turn off the constant drone of the hvac* system in the master bed. Also a small table would be a great addition in kitchen area.

Great 4th of July house

The house was very cute and comfortable for the 6 of us. Very bright and inviting. Loved the outdoor shower and the sunroom. Perfect location very close to the beach. Walked to coffee shop and deli. We have family with a house on Charlestown Beach and this was a place for us to crash at night and be close to them during the day. Host was very quick to respond to a request we had. Overall a great experience!

Worked out perfectly

My 2 grown daughters and I wanted a getaway for a couple of nights near the beach. The house was perfect for us. It was so clean and had everything we needed. The bikes were perfect for getting to the beach. And the host answered a few questions very promptly. I highly recommend it.

House was very nice with a lot of nice upgrades screened in porch was fabulous. Great place to hang out on a rainy day spiral staircase was a little difficult if you had to deal with carrying a lot of things up to the kitchen area. Fortunately, we just used it as an overflow place for people to sleep so it worked out perfectly fine for us.

Utterly Charming

Like checking into a hotel. This is an investment property that owner thought of everything from coffee/tea bar to linens, beach towels, bikes, ping pong, firewood, lotions and soaps, spices and nice bbq with great cookware. Love it!!

The location from the beach is perfect and there are a number of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance to the property. The property also has everything needed to have a lovely meal at home as well as every utensil possible. The areas of the home that had sleeping capabilities were very clean. The backyard space was large and had everything to sit outside and enjoy a fire as well as if you have children an area to play. There were areas of the home however that were not cleaned with lots of grime and dirt under the floor mats and areas of the outdoor upper deck. There were also areas in the bedroom that had some questionable smudges on the corners as well as the frames. It seems as the left half of the outdoor area of the house and the outdoor shower was really dirty and no hose to clean either. The downstairs area does get humid although there is a humidifier. The rooms provided were spacious enough to fit two people however there was no hanging closet space provided in any of the rooms and the storage was minimal. Sleeping 8 is a bit of a stretch as there are 2 large beds and a trundle bed. Better for a couple with children not just couples.

Location, Location, Location

House was great. We ate in all but 2 days. The house is set up perfectly for a larger family and I truly enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet but we did not mind. I only gave 4 stars because I felt the neighbors were not friendly and seem to hate the idea of having renters around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 36 Burnham Street, Charlestown, RI. The home was modern, comfortable, and located in a quiet area that was perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed the sunroom, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient washer/dryer. The location was ideal, with easy access to Charlestown Beach, Matunuck, Galilee, Point Judith, the Block Island Ferry, and many great restaurants.We have a few suggestions that may improve future guests' experiences. At our scheduled 4:00 p.m. check-in, the cleaning crew was still finishing the house. Although they completed their work shortly afterward, we found blond hairs beneath a pillow and the decorative towels had an unusual odor, so we rewashed them. We were initially confused by the wall thermostats, later learning the mini-split A/C is controlled by two remotes. A note directing guests to the remotes would be helpful. The bathrooms were stocked with only two small bars of soap, which was insufficient for our family of five. Lastly, the outdoor shower appeared overlooked, with a dirty floor mat and a partially used bottle of conditioner left behind.Overall, these were relatively minor issues. We truly appreciated the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home and would gladly return. Thank you for sharing your property, and we hope our feedback is helpful.

Rhode Island Getaway

This home was perfect for my family of 4. We come to RI every summer. The home was clean, well decorated and everything was new! We enjoyed using the bikes, ping pong table, beach chairs and fire pit outside. It was an easy walk/ bike ride to the beach and/or shops, restaurants and ice cream! We were able to park our small 14.5 ft boat in the parking area. The only thing missing in this property was a lobster pot and a shell cracker so bring your own if cooking lobster, clams etc. We had one minor issue with the toilet upstairs. However, communication with the property owner was excellent as they responded to texts/emails immediately. I would not hesitate on this property for a small family. It had everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation. We look forward to returning next summer!

The house was well kept and beautiful. It had everything you’d really need for a beach vaca. Unfortunately, we went during a very rainy weekend, but still the place was so comfortable that we felt right at home. Our dog was also welcome which we appreciated.
