The pool is absolutely perfect once the temperatures climb, especially charming for midnight swims, and we’d love to host you again when you can enjoy it to the fullest. Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the home itself, particularly the spacious layout, backyard, refreshments, snacks, and easy checkout process. That said, your review leaves out a considerable amount of context. Months before your arrival, you made an unusually high volume of requests and we obliged with all of them. Despite the listing already containing extensive photos and a video tour. You requested additional photographs, aerial views of the property, all of which we accommodated, so to make your stay more enjoyable. Your requested extra pool chair, which we purchased prior to your arrival, so to make your stay more enjoyable. During your stay, every single one of your inquiries, complaints, and messages were responded to. All one hundred of them during your two-night stay! In fact, there were well over a dozen messages exchanged and we would be more than happy to provide screenshots reflecting the timing and substance of those responses. So, the claim that communication was “weak” or that messages were ignored is simply false. We responded to every single one of your requests and inquiries, so to make your stay more enjoyable. When you reported “ants,” we sent a technician to inspect the property. No ants were found! Nevertheless, we still had the doors and windows treated, so to make your stay more enjoyable. When you claimed the master toilet “never worked properly,” we dispatched a plumber the same day and at considerable expense. The plumber determined the toilet simply needed to be flushed again and that there was no plumbing issue. Expert tip: just hold the handle down a bit longer. Regardless, the plumber still ran a snake through the line, so to make your stay more enjoyable. As for the AC, the home uses a smart thermostat system. After multiple explanations regarding how to operate the thermostats, you continued insisting the system was malfunctioning. An HVAC technician was then sent to the property and confirmed the system was functioning just fine. The only actual problem appeared to be your inability to unravel the mystery of the thermostat. We were able to dispatch the HVAC technician on an emergency basis, the same day and at considerable expense, so to make your stay more enjoyable. Your Kleenex complaint was perhaps the most memorable. The property is stocked with paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper throughout the home. However, when you demanded specifically Kleenex brand tissues bed delivered “ASAP,” we had to politely explain that this is a VRBO home, not a hotel with 24-hour butler service. Fortunately, there was a grocery store located less than a mile away for this apparent emergency. The pool temperature in mid-May is, of course, somewhat subjective, and the automated pool sweep exists for the radical purpose of keeping the pool clean for guests. Next time, perhaps just move it out of the way. Finally, the absence of televisions in the bedrooms was not exactly hidden information. The listing photos and amenities are available to guests prior to booking. Next time, try sitting under the trees in the one-acre green oasis in the middle of the desert and enjoy each other’s company. If spending time with your companions is not a priority during your stay, try using the actual theater room with the gigantic television. We work very hard to provide a great experience and routinely receive excellent feedback from guests. Unfortunately, despite repeated efforts, multiple service calls, and considerable expense, it became clear that nothing short of a full-service hotel staffed with on-demand attendants would have met your expectations. You can’t make everyone happy. 1% are just unhappy in general. We sincerely wish you the best in finding accommodations more suited to your preferences in the future.
