Welcome to our Beach House on Fresh water John'd Pond!! Our home has 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, with an Indoor heated pool, and Dock, So bring your own boat, waterskies, jet ski's, and paddle boards kayaks, and don't forget your bathing suit! Stainless steel appliances, stainless steel gas grill, nice patio furniture, Horseshoe pit, basketball hoop, zipline, outdoor shower, cable and WIFI, professionally cleaned,
2 Large screen TV 50+ inches in livingroom and master bedroom. Have dinner on the deck and watch the boats go by after a long day reading on the hammock or end your night soaking in the indoor heated pool.

Our home is a short walk to John's Pond Plaza, Dunkin Donut's coffee, Dino's Family Pizza, The Wall Chinese food, and Walking distance to Brick yard Market Place :Pizza Guyz, Stylish 10 Nail Salon, and the White lion bakery!

Checkout the Mashpee common's (It is a few miles , maybe 3)at for shopping dining and entertainment. You will find shops like the Gap, the Black ad White Store, Cold Water Creek, Talbots, Marshalls, and Game Stop. Also Roche Brothers and Super Stop and Shop. We have stayed at this property several times now. In addition to a quiet location that's still near everything, it has the indoor pool that the kids love. Plus a firepit and the dock outside. Hosts always have excellent communication and are responsive to questions. Laundry on site, lots of towels, and a great place to relax. Would stay here again.

The beach is perfect for family fun in the sun, with many options for playing in the sand or water. The beds are comfortable, and having a washer and dryer was very helpful after a long day of water fun. The kitchen was adequate.

The host was very accessible both through the app and by phone. The property is in a nice location and probably very much on demand in the summer as it's backyard is right on the water. It's an older home with some minor upgraded features but everything was very clean. We enjoyed the pool which was heated and my son loved it. It's rare to find a home with an indoor pool. It did take a while to heat up (about 3 hours) but once it did, it was nice and the view from the pool was beautiful. It was very cold outside so only one recommendation I would say would be that it would have been nice to have the heat started in the home so that it wasn't so freezing for so long on our first night but the rest of the days were very warm and comfortable. Thank you!

Perfect Pond!

We enjoyed our stay at Kelly's place. Kelly was extremely responsive anytime I reached out with a question which was very appreciated. The location of the home is wonderful and exactly what we wanted. Highlights: quiet neighborhood, lots of space, warm + clean pond, clean pool that we could adjust temp on to be more like a hot tub or pool, comfortable beds, beautiful outdoors. We hope to return!

Beautiful John's Pond Home

What an amazing home on John's pond. We had a warm week for the end of June and the pond was warm enough for everyone to swim. We got out on our kayaks (we brought our own but there were plenty there to use) and the paddleboards (on property) several times a day. The kids went from the pond to the indoor pool. They swam for hours. The house was comfortable for everyone to stay for the week. There is a shower and hose outside, but these hadn't been turned on yet for our stay. Awesome communication with Kelly, the owner. Thanks for lots of fun vacation memories.

70th Birthday with my Boys

Super nice, Kelly was always available to answer whatever questions I had. Because May can be very unpredictable the pool/spa was what sold me. I was not disappointed. One thing I would have liked was a book with instructions for oven, pool, dishwasher, etc. with a list of restaurants and things to do in the area, and a place to write something about the stay. I will definitely come back next year! or maybe during the summer to enjoy the pond which was Crystal clear and inviting.

Birthday on the water

We had perfect weather for enjoying this absolutely beautiful spot and all the outside activities it affords, especially the paddle boarding and kayaking. Also a perfect spot for sunset cocktails. The eclectic interior decor with its wild kingdom aspects can be equally offputting and comical depending on your sensibility. Owner is extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Nice property at the Water

The house was very clean and organized. There is plenty of sleeping space for a large family. The spot on the beach is great, dock and kayaks etc.. We rented a boat and enjoyed the lake. Close to shopping and salt water beaches, golfing etc. The only item is the lighting in kitchen , is difficult without the stove counter lighting to cook in evening. other than that the property was very nice.

Enjoying John's Pond

This is our second wonderful family vacation here. The location of house and house to pond are perfect. The heated indoor pool,the beach,dock,six or so kayaks and sups, seven comfortable Adirondack chairs and outdoor table,hammock,huge parking area,lots of paper goods were great. The neighbors were friendly. The one drawback is the house needs more care. The outdoor and indoor showers and first floor lighting need attention .

Fantastic vacation

House was very unique and in a perfect spot! We fully enjoyed every minute. Not a factor in our vacation but more to owner… very few lights worked. The house was very dark. We tried to change light bulbs but were unsuccessful getting some lights to work. Also there are no wine glasses -we bought plastic ones. Overall great time

Nice getaway

Place was nice. Pool was the key selling point for a winter trip. Tv in every room, but I think something was wrong w the xfinity. Only master bedroom worked with Netflix to watch. That was a huge bummer. If it was warmer weather wouldn’t have been as much of an issue. They had lots of things to do for nice weather but wasn’t the time of year. House was over all nice and relaxing.

Relaxing yet lots to do

This is our third time staying at this property because we love it so much. It's situations in a quiet neighborhood, right on the water including a dock and kayaks. My son loved watching the ducks and geese in the water. My husband liked sitting in the outdoor chairs with the view. My daughter loved using the indoor spa pool. It was lovely, especially because it rained most of this trip. Lots of bedrooms, easy parking, and all the extras you might want(pillows, bedroom fans, mini-splits for AC or heat, etc. The rental is a very short drive or walk from Dunkin, or sit down breakfast across the main street. Also a short drive from Starbucks or shopping. We love the comfort of this rental and hope to be back again. It is worth noting the hosts have always been very responsive to any questions or concerns we've had. We've never had to wait or worry.

pond side horror

The home left much to be desired. It was very musty, and the home had many shortcomings: Outside shower did not work, inside shower was broken and only the handheld nozzle worked and not that well. The dishwasher had to be replaced and the new one did not fit the opening at all. Windows upstairs could not be opened unless the screens were removed because the cranks were broken. Many ceiling fans did not turn on. The property was littered with old non usable moldy furniture and the basketball hoop was set too low for use. Overall a total disaster. We left a week early and were glad we did!

Dated! Did not look like the online pictures

We looked at the reviews prior to booking this property and I have no idea how it got so many good reviews. The house wasn’t very clean and smelled musty. The pictures must have been taken at least 15 years ago. Everything is dated, not what you expect for the amount of money we paid. The horse shoe pit was overgrown, hasn’t been used in years. There was a branch growing though the crack between the wall and the door to the first floor bedroom. We ended up buying our own charcoal grill because the grills at the property didn’t work. Everything was beat up and old both inside and outside. Wouldn’t stay at this property if I have seen it in person prior to booking. We were looking forward to this vacation, first vacation in two years due to Covid and first one with our one year old. We made the best of it but renters beware. If we paid less, you get what you pay for, not in this case.
