About this property
Blue Oasis w/private parking close to attractions
Welcome to DC and my newly renovated home! Located in historic Anacostia, your home away from home is only 12 or more mins away from top tourist sites. Modern furnishings, convenient location, and private parking. If you’re looking for great value for money, you won’t find a better AirBnB option!
This is the in-law suite in the basement and will give you plenty of privacy. Private entrance, mini kitchen, and close to the river if you like to jog or fish. This is your own mini apartment.
Airbnb host's quarters are upstairs.
- There is a locked door to the stairway which separates the -- 2 upper and lower level.
1 bed 1 bath bright artsy basement unit with private rear (alley) entrance in colorful urban Anacostia neighborhood.
Short or long term rental created to be your home away from home for however long you stay. Conveniently located 2 blocks to multiple bus stops, 1 mile from Anacostia Metro station, and a 10-minute ride to Downtown DC.
Sleeps up to 4 but most optimal for 2 people.
The place is minutes away from a beautiful park and bike trail with rental bikes located down the street. You will be so close to all of the great things that DC has to offer, and you will feel like you are at your second luxurious home!
This space is perfect for business travelers, families, as well as anyone who wants to play tourist in the city! I'm very knowledgeable about DC and can give you tips on where to go.

I live on the second and third levels of the property but you will most likely never see me unless you want to. I am happy to meet with you if you want to chat about DC (i.e. where to go, what to see, how to get around, etc.) but also leave a pretty comprehensive guest book out so you will have some information at your fingertips. I also want to mention that this is a basement unit with decent insulation and while I try to be light on my feet, you can sometimes hear when I travel up/down the stairs. Outside of that, you will probably not notice anyone else is in the property, as it is pretty quiet in the space. I am always a phone call or text message away should you need help with anything.
Getting to Downtown, the monuments and museums, grocery stores, and the like is very convenient. The space is right off the highway (less than a 3-minute drive from the exit) and Metro bus stops are a 3-5 minute walk away. Rideshares (Via, Lyft, Uber) are almost as inexpensive (and more convenient) than public transit so I highly recommend using those to get around, especially for groups. 1 parking spot on site but there is also a good amount of free street parking available and I am happy to get you a pass if you will staying for an extended period of time. Most use Uber since parking in DC is a hassle. Usually less than $10 to get to all the major sites. Reagan National Airport is a 15-minute drive away.
