Set on a quiet finger of Lake Norman, Porch Paradise is a classic Southern-style home built for slow mornings, long afternoons on the water, and the kind of evenings where no one wants to head inside. Nearly 1,100 square feet of wrap-around porch sets the tone the moment you arrive — rocking chairs, dining for the whole group, and shaded corners for coffee or a glass of wine from one of the nearby Lake Norman wineries.

Inside, a warm foyer opens to a spacious dining area for eight and a fully stocked kitchen finished with Italian Tigerwood cabinetry and slate counters. The kitchen flows into a bright family room with built-ins, comfortable seating, and access to a back deck that runs the full length of the home. The primary suite sits on the main level with a king bed, a quiet sitting nook, and an ensuite bath featuring a soaking tub, glass shower, and dual sinks.

Upstairs, four bedrooms give everyone room to spread out — three with king beds and a bunk room with twin-over-twin bunks for the kids. One king bedroom has its own ensuite, while the other two share a hall bath. It's a layout that works especially well for multi-generational trips and groups traveling with little ones.

Downstairs is where the trip really opens up. The lower-level game room is anchored by a large sectional, a big-screen TV, and a multi-game table with pool, air hockey, and ping pong. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
