We had a wonderful time in your home! Thank you so much. The location was excellent. We love the New Orleans charm of the house, the beds were comfortable, and all the amenities were provided.
Christina was great, very responsive and welcoming. The apartment suits us, large, quiet, nice neighborhood, not fancy but comfortable. Everything worked, and the entire apartment was very clean. I loved all the thriving houseplants.Be sure to bring your own shampoo and shower gel - we always do anyway. Everything else is provided.I took a few walks around the neighborhood and I felt perfectly safe. Bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen was just what we needed. We will be back!
Great location! Peaceful and relaxing. Loved the decor. The tub drained slow, might need some attention. The sink was in need of replacing. You can see there have been some ongoing upgrades. I would recommend this home to anyone.
In a very cute location and close to French quarter so there was many things to do. Bathroom was a little dirty but everything else was clean. Remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner
My friends and I had a great stay! Communications with the owner were super easy, and everything was clean and ready for us when we got there. We recommend!
Owner was super friendly and took care of everything. The home was clean and welcoming. Several touches were made that proves the owner really cares about their guest.
This rental is great! It is in a convenient location with plenty of outdoor walking opportunities for you and your pets. It is spacious, comfortable, safe and inviting. The hosts are great. Thanks again!
It was a beautiful spot with comfortable sleeping areas and a beautiful kitchen. The neighborhood was really nice, and communication was fantastic. If I had any questions, Christina answered right away. I would stay here again!
We felt very safe. Property is great with the architecture and old style. Very spacious plan. Travel is hard to the French quarter though if you're traveling by bus or trolley. Getting there wasn't too bad but getting back in the torrential rains was hard. The schedules are hard to figure out and we had to use both with where we were staying. The property is great. No one bothered us.
First of all, being an artist myself I appreciated the local art VERY MUCH! The house was private and felt cozy. Everything was provided and coffee was very tasty. It was very easy to contact the host. One thing is the sink needs upgrade (cold faucet separate from hot faucet in bathroom and looks old, shower water was weak) but it was nothing that would be fixed over night and I appreciated the place very much. Overall, driving 11 hours, it was everything we needed
Good location. Sleeping arrangements less than advertised.
Easy to access. The listing was sleeps 6/2 queen beds and 1 double sleeper bed sofa. The sofa did not convert to a sleeper. After contacting the host they said Vrbo listed incorrectly and it has an air mattress not a sleeper sofa. When we tried to inflate the mattress it would not inflate. So 2 of our party had no place to sleep. The host was apologetic but it did not resolve our problem.

Beware of the hair & mice
Overall it was an okay stay. We had several problems while staying. Tv remotes didn’t work, tvs weren’t set up all the way for us to use when we arrived (missing plug in blocks for fire stick).
Our sheets were dirty and had human hair and pet hair everywhere. We didn’t make a huge deal about it and just washed them. But the amount of dog hair and pet dander in the house was insane. It caused me to have allergies and it triggered my asthma and I became very sick on our trip which sucked because there was times I had to stay home While Everybody else went out and enjoyed themselves.
We got a video of a mouse running across the counter and behind the stove and The mouse pooped all over the counter. We all documented how dirty the house was but the host won’t respond to me now that we’re gone.
All the other problems were minor and we tried our best not to complain.
However, I messaged the host and was trying to see about getting the cleaning fee back but she won’t respond to me at all. I paid $125 for a house that I left cleaner than when I arrived.
Because of how dirty the house was and the mouse infestation, I definitely will not book here ever again.

Response from VrboOwner on 16 Oct 2024
This was one of the worst experiences I've had as a host. This guest complained the whole time she was here (and I responded to each request within the hour). Then in the middle of the night the last night she was there she sent me a whole other list of complaints (basically asking for money back) and then left early in the morning. I was not able to respond to her additional concerns. I didn't know there was a mouse, etc. I would have sent cleaner back (and offered as much). You can't always make everyone happy, but I certainly tried.
