This place was wonderful! Great location, walkable neighborhood, I'm originally from midtown so I felt right at home, nice neighbors and a very responsive host. We had a floor lamp suddenly fall and break at 4am - hey, it happens - I wrote the host, a handyman showed up within hours to fix it, he was lovely. I'd rather have a nice, professional host than a perfect lamp any day, and I'm going to rebook every time I visit Memphis if it's available. I've stayed in many hotels in Memphis downtown to Wolfchase, and I preferred this. Thank you again for sharing your historic property.
The apartment was clean, centrally located, and the beds were very comfortable! Definitely with stay again!

This property was exactly what we needed on our stay. It was clean, quiet and roomy. The owners were very responsive and forthcoming with all information needed to make this stay as easy as possible. Will definitely book again.
Easy to access and park. Neat old place with lots of character. Front porch and back balcony access. Walking distance to many restaurants and cool stores. Really enjoyed the stay and the neighborhood. Would definitely book again.
It was booked as a two bedroom but there was no privacy one bedroom really was a front room

We Moved Out Early
The good: Host was very responsive throughout the process. The location is perfect for walking to some great food/music in the area.Having said that, we moved out after the first night knowing that we might not get the money back for unused nights. The smell of weed and neighbors fighting all night long did it in for us. I can't say that is a normal issue for this unit, but we didn't feel safe/secure, much less comfortable here. In all fairness, the host offered to relocate us to a different rental, but we had had enough at that point. In addition to the drama, there is zero privacy in this unit and with all of the shared spaces and paper-thin walls, it did not feel like it lived up to VRBO's "entire place, just for you" philosophy.

This is a studio.
Great location! Manager communicates well. Our first intro to the place was opening the downstairs entry door … and it basically fell out of the frame! I pushed the screws back into the hinges by hand, but the door did not lock properly because it is not screwed into the frame. The studio is cute, but there are NO bedrooms that have doors or privacy. The double bed is in the entryway, and the small single is in a sun room with glass doors. No privacy to change anywhere. Also, the bathroom door will not close because it hits the front of the toilet before it shuts … so no privacy on the toilet either! Good spot for a couple college buddies going to a game that don’t care about privacy!
