Darling cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed coffee on the porch and the moon by the fire. Walking a few minutes to the mission was also so nice. The pull out bed was okay for kids but the mattress was not in good enough shape for an adult to sleep on it, needs a new one. Would love to return!
Great house for small families and couples. Super close downtown, walkable to the beach. Clean. Will be back

Incredible Cottage in Quaint Carmel
My husband and I have stayed in the Monterey/Carmel area many times, and this cottage is our new favorite spot! Walking distance to Carmel River Beach, Mission Ranch Restaurant, Carmel Mission, and only about a mile to the center of Carmel by the Sea. A great location, had everything we needed, and we definitely plan to return soon.

Upon arrival the place had a stale oder, Fans were essential but a bit noisy. Otherwise, the place was a basic accommodation.
Loved this little Carmel house! Cozy place with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and parking. It’s a quick drive to the downtown shops, restaurants, and Carmel Beach. Would love to stay here again someday!
My friend and I came to stay in Carmel for the Big Sur Marathon. It was the perfect spot, close to everything especially the finish line! I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Carmel.

Thank you for the wonderful review cheers from the Luxevaca Team
What a great place! This little gem, just down the hill from downtown Carmel and a few blocks from the beach, was the perfect weekend launching pad for all the fantastic offerings of the Monterey Bay Area. We loved the privacy of the yard area and the retro vibe of the cabin.
This house was perfect for my husband and me. It had everything we needed for our stay and we couldn’t ask for a better location. We highly recommend this place. Easy walking distance to Mission Ranch and the beach. The property manager was very nice and easy to work with.
Perfect for couple's getaway. Walking distance to Mission Ranch Inn, the mission and scenic paths. Loved strolling to Mission Ranch Restaurant to watch sunset while enjoying drinks and snacks. Front porch lovely spot for breakfast and morning tea. Protected hideaway if stormy weather.
The house was exactly as shown on the pictures. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but very dated. Throwback to the 60's. The fire pit was lovely and the pillows and outdoor furniture was very nice. Couldn't fit more than two people as there is no dining table and the bar stools are too high (they should be replaced). Otherwise it was a wonderful property and we would stay again.
No ocean view, a long walk to beach,No chairs to sit in to eat at counter top. Stool with no backs too high for counter to eat while sitting in.Sofa needs replacing. Nice kitchen, TV easy to navigate. Easy to communicate for beach chairs we requested, but arrived the following day. Really needs some new furniture for comfortable relaxing in evenings in living room. I felt a bit over priced for this place.
A combination of quality and needs improvement. Great privacy and yard, TV, and comfortable bed. Bathtub needs some improvement, no dish drainer, inadequate amount of furniture, barstools a joke.
The first thing that we noticed upon check-in was the size of the yard the privacy. The hedges were really high, so even though you were on the street you felt like you were your own private oasis patio furniture, gas grill for enjoying the cool foggy evenings walking distance to Carmel River Beach, which was perfect and it is less than a block from Mission Ranch for fabulous breakfast, lunch and dinner and the afternoon cocktail Will definitely stay again. We had two people staying there. I slept on the sofa sleeper, which was comfortable. Kitchen was equipped for our needs and we look forward to going again this year with highly recommended.
Perfect location for a 5 night stay for two.More living room seating and a bigger coffee pot would make it better. More than two people would be uncomfortable in my opinion. We mainly just slept here and were out a lot so it was fine for us. I contacted the management company about a washer and dryer since it was listed but no photos. Two different responses told me there was NO washer and dryer so we packed accordingly, but there actually IS a washer and dryer available.

Sorry for the mistake . New Employe cheers come back soon
We loved this location, toasty and hot showers, clean linens, smelled good, beautiful views. There was a hiccup with an amenity which was addressed directly by the manager. The manager communicated well and was kind. Two minor suggestions: could use thicker pillows on the bed, these are worn. Consider adding a cheap cutting board, the ones you have are too nice I was hesitant to use them. The house is so cute, it had been well cared for and the classic elements are hardly worn. I can see someone loved this house very much. Thanks for this wonderful vacation.Oh and if you haven’t been to this part of California before, definitely go see Monterey Aquarium.
This was truly like a 1960 beach cabin I stayed in as a kid. It's had some updates, like the flooring that we loved. It was really close to the beaches, making for very nice peaceful walks. The bed was really comfy, as was the couch, well stocked on paper products. Close to grocery shopping area and close to town. There is a great restaurant just up the road.
It could use a few things, like a dish rack for washing dishes, and maybe some beach chairs to take to the beach, along with some beach towels. I didn't see any instructions for lighting the fireplace. Three doors in a one bedroom cabin was a little odd, specially the door in the bedroom but who knows what they were thinking when it was originally built.
We had a great time here exploring Carmel.
The property itself was fine. Clean. Relaxing front gas fire pit. Good hot water for showers. The washer and dryer had issues. Thankfully we didn’t really need them. We brought enough clothes. We did have a, I wouldn’t call him a gentleman, contractor of some sort in a work truck pull to the front of the house and was saying something to the effect of “ I want these f**king people out of here.” My wife encounter the man. Sort of uncomfortable for her. Not sure if he was there for our property at the time. Also, lawn guys were at the house for over an hour. Had lunch in the front. I guess Mondays are the best day for that as the weekends are usually booked. Just a heads up for anyone staying there during the weekdays. Overall, the weather played nice and it was an excellent 4 nights.
