We really appreciated having this "home base" during our stay. It was a homey neighborhood and easy to connect to the Metro for all our activities. Roya very kindly assisted us arranging access and checked in during the stay. This was a great experience!

I am so happy to hear you had a great time in Paris, thank you to choosing our house for your Parisian escapade. We are looking forward to host you again.
Kind Regards
This property was exactly as advertised and more. It was cozy, central, so easy to get wherever we wanted and close to all the things we wanted to see. The flat was very well appointed and we were most comfortable for our stay. Roya was an absolutely amazing host. The neighborhood was charming, with a market and boulangerie right next door. We couldn't have asked for more and I hope to be able to stay there again. It was perfect for our family of 5.

Conveniently located immediately next to the Tram T3a and a 5 minute walk from the Metro 13. Grocery store on the corner along with a Boulangerie and Boucherie. Well appointed apartment, we enjoyed our stay.

Dear Marc ,
It was a pleasure having you and your family in our Parisienne Apartment, and happy to know that you enjoyed your stay.
We do all our best to help our guests to keep a great memory of their stay .
Thanks again for your good communication.
You are welcome back anytime.
I love this location because it is far from the touristy sections of Paris and gives you a sense of what it is like to live in Paris. Rue Brançion has good restaurants (Les Tontons), and the Parc Georges Brassens is enchanting. Convention is also close by. Roya was not there because she was dealing with a family emergency, but I appreciate that she was so available despite this. It is so refreshing to have a host who sincerely wants you to have a good stay. I wish we could have met in person.

I am really happy that you enjoyed your stay in Paris , you are most welcome to come back anytime. And hopefully for your next stay I could have the pleasure of meetings you in person.
Kind regards
This property was great for our family. The only downside was the check in process. We had to go to a corner market to get the keys and the communication of the key code was complicated. (Our travel fatigue didn’t help either). After picking up the key we had to walk several blocks back to the apartment building. The apartment is smoke free (thankfully) but the building is not? The hallway had a heavy smoke aroma (we are not smokers and are sensitive to smoke). The apartment was accessible to the city without the congestion of staying in the city center. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay, in a slightly sketchy neighborhood
This apartment was exactly as promised: a small but well-furnished space that provided exactly what we needed for our stay.
Roya and Lonie were great at communicating, and were able to accommodate an early check-in, which was very much appreciated given that we arrived in Paris in mid-morning and would otherwise have needed to tote our bags around all day.
Apartment building is very close to both a tram stop and a grocery store, both of which we made good use of.
The only caveat that I would give is that the neighborhood can feel a little sketchy late at night, and the entrance to the apartment building is on a side street that is not well lit. We adjusted by just making sure to return before 22:00, while the grocery store was still open and the street a little more populated.
Overall, renting was fine experience, and I would definitely choose these hosts and this property again.

Thank you Jacob for your review , and happy to know you had a good stay with us . You are welcome any time .
By the way , don’t worry about the safety of the neighborhood, actually the big part of the buildings around , belongs to the French administration and army !! That’s why it’s a very much family oriented..
have a great day
On the whole, the unit was a nice place to stay. It served the purpose for our trip. The location of the place was a bit far from most attractions but we were aware of this prior to staying.
The reason for the lower rating was because of the communication from VRBO/owner of the unit. The first night, we had an issue with the toilet. It took three solid days before any response was given. We basically did not have use of the toilet for the majority of the stay. The owner indicated they were out of the country which is why they didn't respond in a more timely manner but that isn't a great excuse.
In the end, if everything works great, this is a good place to stay. If not, the responsiveness could have been much better.

Dear Justin ,
Thank you for review, you had the phone number of the lady who came to welcome you and your espouse and your 3 children at your arrival, and unfortunately during a long flight and then being abroad with the internet connection issues I couldn't be available immediately, but I answer back 24 hours later , certainly if you had contact Grace, she could answer back immediately . She is in charge while I am out of the town.
After each departure she is coming to inspect the apartment, clean and reorganize the apartment. She told me that the toilet was clean and was fonctioned normally before your arrival. After your departure we call a company to come and Unblock the toilet and unfortunately some one throw UN solide tissu in the toilet . Any how the problem is solved now .
I want to ask to our dear future guest to avoid to throw the hygienic pads out the toilet rolls or other object who can clogs the toilet .. thanks in advance .

Liked: Communication, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Okay but would not stay again
Pros: roomy, good bed, quiet, loved the neighborhood.Cons: check-in process, shower stall not clean, advertised A/C (we didn't need it, but no A/C (central or mini-split was evident), check-out process. Check in and out required a 1.4 km walk from the apartment building to a bodega to retrieve a digital fob from a worker and the reverse of that on check-out day to return the fob.Didn't know that until day before arrival and day of departure. Also, when you open the door from the hallway to the apartment, you enter a kind of anteroom. To the left is another apartment and in front of you is the apartment you rented. That apartment has just a sliding door whose top half is frosted glass with a latching lock which struck us as not very secure. It didn't seem like anyone was living in the other apartment so that gave some comfort given the apparent insecurity of the sliding door's lock.. The other apartment's balcony is at a right angle to the rental apartment. It has a tent of plastic that, at one time, appeared to cover that balcony's front. The plastic has come loose and flaps in the wind.

Hello Amy,
Thank you for your feedback , and sorry to hear that you didn’t feel secure,
The second apartment is sometimes occupied by the owner and nobody else.
And during the winter the terrace of the second apartment is bashed specially because no one was there .
Concerning the cleaning , we have a cleaning company who take care of cleaning and preparing the apartment , this is the first time complaining and I will avert them .
Thank again to staying with us
Kind regards
We really liked this working class residential neighborhood on the south end of the15th Arrondissement, with a small grocery store right on the corner, bakery and pharmacy right across the street, and dozens of reasonably priced restaurants in easy reach. Bus, tram and metro stops also close by: we could easily get to all the major tourist sites. Very convenient from Orly airport.
The apartment building was secure, with minimal traffic and we never felt unsafe. Our host Roya took extraordinary measures to meet with us upon our (late) arrival. She was headed out of town, but stayed in contact. She provided a lovely assortment of snacks, cheeses and champagne to celebrate our anniversary!
We appreciated having a portable room A/C-heater for the cooler nights. Lots of room in the central living area, with full dining room set and a smart TV with all the favorite apps available (if you had your own account).
The queen size bed was excellent (we learned that the european double bed is approximately queen size width).
We would heartily recommend this property to folks who have some time to enjoy an extended stay (ours was 2 weeks) to appreciate both the famous sights of Paris, and the neighborhood. (Some nice parks in the area!)
