What a gem!!! We stayed 2 nights and could not have been more pleased. The house was spotless, easy to find and the farmhouse charm was top notch. My PSU freshman was in love with the house! All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed with tons of extra blankets, pillows, towels, honestly anything you could need. Our daughter jumped at the chance to sleep in the Penn State Room!! The billiard room was awesome! Our favorites in there were all the records and Penn State Barbie! The house was updated so nicely yet the old farmhouse charm was still there. A perfect combination! Lots of room to park and I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the beautiful backyard and all they had to offer! I would highly recommend staying at John and Brennan's home!

Our stay was delightful. The host had everything ready for us including coffee and snacks available. The place was neat, clean, and comfortable. They were very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had in preparing for our trip and while we were there. We loved being near the lake and surrounding area for walking. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful place for a getaway. It is homey and comfortable and clean and everything you might need is provided! We had a wonderful stay. The property is lovely and we found many fun places to visit in the area.

The host was very easy to communicate with z the place was welcoming and clean. They even left great snacks, that my kids all ate.. sorry! And a sweet birthday gift for my daughter!The bedding smelled amazing and the kitchen had everything you needed!

Exactly what our extended family needed!

Our multigenerational family loved this family friendly home with plenty of beds, clean linens, and space to be together. The house was a great location, close to the lake where we took our boat. The hosts thought of everything we would need to enjoy our trip along with special extras like a basket of snacks that our young adults enjoyed. We can't wait to return!

Excellent house and such a welcoming host!

The residence was perfect for a large group of family members to stay on a PSU football weekend. Host had the house very will cleaned and even added some cute touches with little welcome gifts. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone interested.

Very nice, updated home in great location

This home is clean, well appointed and well managed. Everything you need in the kitchen. Great jacuzzi/hot tub. The street is very quiet and next to the beautiful lake.

I could not recommend this place more! We stayed here with our youth group of 13 and it was perfect.The hosts were super quick and helpful when replying. The house was clean and we had space to spread out. There were plenty of games inside and out. Also the lake is a quick walk away. Thank you!

The house was great. There was six kids and five adults and we all slept comfortably. The house was clean, the pool table was fun, and there was lots of games. The host had welcome gifts for us and it was very accommodating. The lake is only 100 yards way up the hill, and we can’t wait to come back. Oh yeah, great pizza joint right down the street. Thanks for having us!

Great house, amazing hosts

My group had an amazing time at this house! The hosts left us a sweet note and some Stickies! Right away, we knew the stay was going to be great! The house had loads of activities and space for every one of us to enjoy! We would absolutely LOVE to stay here again for our next trip up!

What a gem!

We booked this property for a quick fall getaway. They proximity to Penn State made it convenient, but would definitely return! The host was extremely responsive and literally thought of everything! Thanks for a great stay in a lovely home!

The Lion Lake house was wonderful. Very clean and very relaxing. There were games and other things that kept a housefull of teenagers busy. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit! We will be back next time we are in town!

Wonderful hospitality

The owners went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed and pampered! From the s’mores fixings to the basket of snacks to the cold drinks to the drawer of medicines (Just in case) to the arts and crafts supplies for the kids, they really thought of everything! We hope to come back someday and will recommend to our friends!

Exceeds expectations

We had a wonderful time in a clean, well-equipped house that comfortably slept three married couples and 8 singles. The pool table and hot tub were big hits, and the nearby pond and state park just added to the enjoyment of our stay, We do a winter retreat every year and rarely repeat a location, but I have a feeling we may be coming back for a second year in a row

This place has everything.

Close to nature, lots of cozy beds, all the amenities you could want. We ended up cooking in and had everything we could need. Plenty of space, bathrooms, etc. Great record collection. Hot tub. Warm hosts who provided lots of goodies and were extremely responsive. Great value.
