Our fourth year in a row staying at this wonderful home. Highlights as always are the pool, the cleanliness, the easy communication with the host and the homes proximity to so many things.
Great home for our week-long stay. We loved the pool and lanai space. Home is very well-stocked except we couldn't find any of the board games that were advertised in the listing. With rainy conditions on a couple of our days, the games would have been a great perk. Overall, would definitely recommend the home for a relaxing family trip.
This house was very clean, spacious and well stocked! The host was very friendly and responsive-check in was a breeze. The beds were comfortable and the pool was just perfect. I would stay here again for sure!
The home was very roomy and the floor plan laid out well. The house was clean, an easy drive to every place we planned to see. The pool and lanai was a nice feature. Our chief complaint was the temperature of the house … the a/c could not cool the space and it was 81 in the house as we headed to bed each night…not conducive to sleeping even with the ceiling fans on high. The note on the a/c said don’t turn the A/c below 75 degrees and the thermostat had a lock on it. The two of us do our grocery shopping and sightseeing early on August days, so it wasn’t that we had doors or blinds open.
Check in was smoot and easy. We had great sleeping arrangements with 2 twins, a queen and a king bed. There is also a couch that could be used and this home has enough seating for everyone. The host responded very quickly and was happy to helpnif needed.
The pool was wonderful and we used it a lot. The reclining couch was broken on one end and didn't work. The inside of the house had a nice layout. Sliding glass doors that go out to the pool are very old and really need to be replaced. They easily come off track. The palm trees and greenery all around the house need grooming. The home could use some better curb appeal. There were no working outside lights in the front of the house so we had to find our way to the front door in the dark each time we were out later. It has a nice well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are good size. It was cool when we were out in the pool (water temp is perfect) there was a good size iguana that would come outside the pool cage and entertain us.Communication with the host is great and she was prompt to respond. Very friendly and helpful. The floors in the house and around the baseboards were dirty. Sheets on the bed looked like they had been slept in. I took them off and washed them before we used them. The shower curtains in both bathrooms fall down easily. The poles they are hung on need to be replaced. The garage door is old and very loud. It sounds like the spring is going to break at any moment. If there was some repairs on things, some updates, cleaning up the overgrowth in the yard and definetly a better cleaning service/person for the inside this could be a really nice place with lots of sleeping room and a decent location. The home is located near a lot of restaurants and shopping.
The pool was the highlight of our stay, which was warm and inviting. We spent our days exploring various beaches and the nights swimming, fishing off the dock, and relaxing in the covered outdoor area.
Great experience. Loved the floor plan of the residence. Location was perfect for us…. everything we liked to do and eat was nearby. The property had the added bonus of a fishing deck into the canal behind the house. Hubby was VERY happy! Hosts were very response to any and all questions. Highly recommend.
