Our stay was perfect at this house, the house is very clean and in a perfect location and in a nice quiet neighborhood with beaches nearby, the owners were very friendly and responded within minutes of any questions I had. Very pleased with everything about this house.
This was our second visit to Hidden Treasure. We didn’t make it to Bonnet Shores this summer and decided to plan a short fall visit. Brenda was great at accommodating our schedule. The house continues to be clean and family friendly and was close to lots of fall events in the area. The owners are always available to share helpful hints about the area or answer questions. Thank you for another great visit!

What a lovely weekend! We were in town for Parents’ Weekend at URI and this delightful home was just what we needed.
A quick drive to campus, dinner in Narragansett and even quicker drive to bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and a lovely little grocery. The house had great space for cooking meals (plenty of pots and pans…space to eat…oils and spices in the cabinets). The three rooms and comfy tv space for watching football was ideal.
We walked to the beach every chance we could! Gorgeous and convenient.
Brenda was so kind and thoughtful—her communications were easy and she even left us little gifts and mementos.
Highly recommend for a beach vacation or URI family visit!
An amazing, spotless property a short walk to the beach. Owner was a dream to deal with, and took the time to respond promptly and thoroughly to all my questions. Can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our weekend here and wished we could have stayed longer. The close proximity to a quiet beach was really nice. The owner communicated with important details of the rental prior to our stay, and made some recommendations of places to go. Everything was clean and bright and we enjoyed the outdoor shower! We would definitely return for another weekend away!

This is our second year staying at this home. The walk to the beach can’t be beat, and the house is so clean and inviting. The owners are so friendly and very responsive (thanks Brenda!). We would not hesitate to come back here again!
We had a lovely time at Brenda’s home! She was very responsive and helpful. We needed some baby items and she had everything we needed. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk from the house and was beautiful and soft. We would love to stay here again!

We were involved in all decisions in the renovation of this cottage, and continue to update or make changes each year. Found treasures in various locations in New England were included in the renovation and decoration. More info happily provided on request!
Why they chose this property
Being able to walk to a beach was the best feature of this home when we bought it in 2010, even tho it needed extensive renovation and updating. The area of Bonnet Shores has a great sense of neighborhood, beautiful homes and gardens, located on a cliffed penninsula of Narragansett between the Atlantic Ocean and Narragansett Bay.
What makes this property unique
High quality materials inside and out were used with shore living in mind. The original home didn't have any porches and was a dark brown very dated ranch without any porches. Original cobblestones were found buried in the front along the property line and reused along with stones from a demolished wall. Salvaged bluestone from a seaside home in Branford, CT were relocated and used for the front steps and side walkway. Found treasures from various locations in New England were included in the renovation and decoration. The mud room is the only interior square footage that was added over existing concrete stairs identical to the ones on the opposite side of the house. The baseboard rocks were handpicked from beaches in RI, MA, NH, and ME and installed one by one over several years. All the wall and trim paint were chosen for a specific color with beach themed names.
