About this property

Scotland Guest House - Pet Friendly Quarryville, PA

Half acre property centrally located in the southern end of Lancaster County. Entertainment, good food, wineries, sights to see within minutes in all directions. Lancaster City to the north, Susquehanna River with hiking trails and beautiful views to the west, Maryland casino and Chesapeake Bay to the south, Chester County to the east. The area is endless in activity or just to relax on the back patio and watch the Amish neighbors at work in their fields. There is also a young Amish family who live directly next door to the home. Please be understand their traditions and privacy.

Two bedrooms, each with queen beds, plus a pull-out couch in the living room to sleep 6. One floor rancher with a lot of open space, recently renovated. Roku smart tv's in both bedrooms and living room. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Sheets and bath towels provided. Paper towels, toilet paper, bath soaps and shampoo also provided. The fireplace is decorative and is non-wood burning. No smoking in home.

We have a pet friendly home, as we travel with our own fur babies. There will be an additional $50 added to the host fee if they are traveling with you. If you are traveling with a pet, please include this information in your booking details, select pet. By booking, you agree to the additional charge. Due to the limits of some larger aggressive breeds on our insurance policy, we cannot accept them.
We do ask if you need to leave your pet at the home they are crated.

Perfect little getaway

Everything was amazing, from the privacy to the complimentary snacks and water and the cleanliness of the house. We very much enjoyed ourselves and definitely chose the right place to stay

House was very comfortable with everything you needed there. Nice to have an Amish family next door and farmland view from back patio. Kim was extremely helpful and welcoming of pets. We would come again!

Our vacation was excellent. This was our third visit to this beautiful home, God willing not our last. Very pet friendly, the home is stacked very well, very clean. Outdoor furniture are available which we used every afternoon. The host is very friendly, responds to any message.

A nice quiet home in Amish country

This beautiful property was in a great area just a short drive away from the heart of Amish country. The house was very clean and was the perfect place for my mom, dog and I to get away from home for a few days. We will definitely be booking again!

This house is super clean, a pleasant surprise for pet friendly. It’s very well stocked with plenty of towels. The checkin process was seamless. We’ve stayed in the surrounding area a few times but this may be our go-to house moving forward.

Peaceful time

Spent 3 peaceful days at this property before the school year starts. Quite area, verdant surroundings. 20-30 minutes drives for most of the things we like to do which was perfect for us.

2nd vacation in Amish country

We totally love the Pennsylvania Dutch country. We stayed at Kim and Billie’s beautiful house for the second time this year. They are both amazing hosts, very easy to communicate with. The location is perfect, very easy to get around to several beautiful side seeing locations in Lancaster, Strasburg. We are definitely going back.

Birthday trip

Kim is an excellent host, she is very fast with responding, very kind yet she gives personal space. The house is super clean, decoration is not overwhelming. She provides everything even had water, k cups, coffee and some snack’s available. That vacation was very positive, the area is super nice, Amish neighbors. We loved it so much that we booked our next trip in August.

Great location and property

My family of four including 2 children and our fur child stayed at the Scotland guest house for a couple of nights. The house was very clean, it has all necessary amenities and we liked that it not overcrowded with unnecessary items. The space outside is nice and location is amazing. It is in the Amish county but at the same time located close enough to restaurants, gas stations, pharmacy and market. Kim was very responsive and not overbearing. She gave us our space and privacy but was available when we needed her. We 100% recommend this property!!!
