Chip the host was fantastic- helpful but not overbearing, gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant, and even helped bring our bags on the boat. There was plenty of room and the place is super cosy. It’s so calming to look out at the water. The community is an rv park area but there’s plenty of parking and everyone we met was super friendly. It’s great to watch the boats even if you don’t fish. We even saw a dolphin while sitting on the patio, and I went upstairs and looked up at the stars one night and it was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderfully laid back time! The houseboat was just as advertised and the area waters are beautiful. We enjoyed great fishing, bioluminescence late at night, and had the best time with all of the friendly manatees. We’ll be back!
The houseboat was far enough out in the water off the long dock that we were basically fishing from the couch! It has all the amenities of a typical space but out on the water. The views were amazing and we got to see a SpaceX rocket launch light up the sky at night. Amanda met us and walked us through everything and was very helpful and gracious. Highly recommend.
One of the best houseboats I have rented. Clean, comfortable, airy and amazing views. Watching the dolphins, manatees and other wildlife was such a great way to start the day. The sunrise was worth getting up for. Parking close to the boat; friendly neighbors and quiet setting. Close to grocery stores and diners. Nice area to take a long walk. All in all, a very relaxing time away. I would certainly book with Chip again. FYI-bring some binoculars-you don't want to miss seeing the dolphins!!
I’ll admit, I was pretty skeptical about spending the night on a boat—but my husband promised it would be fun, and wow, was he right! Our stay on the houseboat was nothing short of incredible. It was such a unique and memorable experience! The space was spotless, cozy, and filled with everything we needed to feel right at home—and more importantly, to have a blast. The property manager was incredibly kind, and the owner went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. There were plenty of fresh towels, linens, extra blankets, and pillows to go around. The beds were very comfortable! Our boys had an absolute blast fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. The on-site cleaning stations made prepping our catch a breeze, and we ended the day with an amazing fresh fish and crab dinner. It doesn’t get more "catch of the day" than that! This place truly has something for the whole family. We’ll definitely be coming back!
From the moment I booked, Chip was incredibly responsive and welcoming. The early check-in process with Amanda was a bonus. She provided us with local recommendations. We could have chatted all day. The early am 4.21.25 (my 70th birthday) launch was a unexpected treat The Laguna Boat exceeded our expectations! Nestled in a serene setting, it was the perfect escape to unwind. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities we needed. Waking up to the peaceful surroundings was exactly the recharge we were was looking for. What truly set this experience apart was the host's attentiveness. Chip and Amanda went above and beyond, ensuring we were comfortable and even following up to check on our stay. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. If you're looking for a place to relax, reset, and be inspired, this is it.We highly recommend booking this gem. We will definitely be back! Next time with out the visitors. Alexandra and Michael
