My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and it was such a great stay! It was very cozy and isolated (except for the few neighbors around). Will definitely stay here again!
Our stay was perfect! The cabin was amazing and the location (tho not quite 100% private) was great! Some great local eats and sites, too! Even saw some beautiful wildlife! We'd highly recommend and would stay again!
My boyfriend and I spent our valentines day weekend here and it was so great! The cabin is very private, clean, and cozy. It snowed the whole weekend which was the cherry on top. There is no service, but we brought games, books and food. With that plus the fireplace and bathtub, we were never bored. Such a great weekend and would 100% visit again! Thanks, Joyce!
This was our second stay this year for Penn State football. It is truly a hidden gem. The cabin is stunning and well equipped. Joyce and Luke have thought of everything! It’s only 45 minutes from Beaver Stadium so it is perfect for anyone wanting to stay overnight but away from the crowds in State College. We will be back again!
This cute little cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet romantic getaway. Plenty of outdoor seating options in a quiet and peaceful location. Listening to the birds and the nearby stream was completely relaxing. Great amenities indoors- full kitchen and modern bathroom. The tub in the loft is the ideal touch for this cabin getaway.
My husband and I enjoyed our time at this cozy mountain cabin. It was secluded yet close enough to a small town to grab essentials. The setting was beautiful, quiet and sirene. The bed was super comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed, including firewood for indoors and the outdoor firepit. The owner was easily accessible and quick to respond. The only drawback to this little love shack was the lack of wifi and cell service in and around the cabin. We actually had to drive several miles to access our emails or even make a phone call. The only reason I even mention this in case of an emergency. However, the owner says they are working to get reliable wifi.
My husband and I stayed here for the Penn State game weekend. It was more than we could ask for! The home is exceptionally clean, and Joyce and Luke thought of virtually everything. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed is comfortable, and for two people the cabin is quite spacious. The fireplace made our nights cozy. The jacuzzi tub in the loft is divine! Just a word of warning for those who have difficulty unplugging, we have Verizon and did not have cell service the entire time, which did not bother us at all! Maybe another carrier works better but Verizon does not. Bring some board games, cards, a good book because there isn't any internet or TV, (again making it for a wonderful weekend away). My husband loved watching the deer come across the yard and we enjoyed the back patio and fire pit. I'm not sure what another reviewer meant when they said it wasn't 100% private, this was about as secluded as you can get! If you want a great place to stay, unplug, and relax, this is the cabin for you! We can't wait to come back!
