Family-friendly amenities make traveling with little ones easier. Wrightsville Beach is about 20 minutes away.

You have the whole property to yourself with an easy keypad check-in!

Free street parking is available on the street directly in front of and around the home. Guests usually park their one car right in front of the house. If guests bring 2 cars, there are more empty spots directly across the street.

We only can accommodate up to 6 guests in our home with one bathroom. We have a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and double size sofa sleeper in the living room. The double sleeper is best suited for one adult and 2 kids, or 2 adults who don't mind cozier sleeping arrangements. We have one bathroom, which all guests can access from the hallway.

We do not allow parties or events. We charge an additional $25 per night per guest over 4 guests.

Exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance/street and backyard. There are no cameras inside the home.

Our neighborhood
Wilmington is the 8th biggest city in North Carolina. Wilmington has suburban and urban neighborhoods. This is an authentic urban neighborhood with a mix of longtime residents, newer residents, local businesses, and ongoing revitalization. Because of our proximity to downtown Wilmington in the Castle Street district, you’ll experience the energy of an urban neighborhood, including occasional pedestrian and street activity. We provide sound machines in both bedrooms for a comfortable night’s sleep.

The Castle Street District is an up-and-coming, inclusive, and diverse neighborhood with a lot of character & local businesses that our guests love to visit! Spend the morning at Wrightsville Beach, then come back to Castle Street for dinner and drinks — without paying beach-town prices.

Early check-in
We keep our cleaning fee low by doing laundry on-site between stays. Standard check-in is 4 PM and checkout is 11 AM. We offer early check-in and/or late-checkout for $35.

This place was perfect for access to downtown Wilmington a quick 5 minute drive or Uber ride to get in and out. The property was clean and inviting. The hosts covered all the bases with their check in email and on-site notebook. Would stay here again!

A little get away with the Littles

The beds were great! My son and I loved the fire pit, we made smores a first for me. The hoyse had everything we needed.

Great Stay Close to Wilmington Downtown & Cargo District

We stayed here 4 nights and were very pleased with the house. The only thing that would have made it perfect was a dedicated driveway but that's just not how the property is set up. Not a problem as we were able to park right in front of the house on the street. The area was quiet despite being on a fairly busy street. The house was immaculate and clean. Beds were excellent in both rooms. Space was comforatble for 4 adults. The owner has everything labeled and sends lots of tips about the house and the area. Communication was very prompt! Also, I had to work some while I was there and the internet speed was more than adequate.We were about a 1 mile walk from downtown and about 3/4 mile walk from the Cargo District. The walks were easy and for the most part and we felt safe walking to restaurants and attractions.I highly recommend this house and this owner. It turned out to be very affordable comapred to staying right in or adjacent to the downtown area. Thanks for a great and comfy house in a convenient area.

I'm a former teacher and absolutely love event planning/hosting! We grew up outside of Philly, lived outside of New York City, then in the heart of Seattle, and now in Raleigh. We love being around the hustle and bustle of cities with lots to do!

Why they chose this property

We loved the idea of being close to the beach, but didn't want to be somewhere so remote. We wanted to be in the city of Wilmington, so we could enjoy the lively restaurant and bar scene. We have two young children, so we also enjoy that we're less than a mile away from two children's museums. We also absolutely loved that we're only two blocks away from Castle Street's coffee shops, cafe, restaurants, yoga studio, and wine shop! It's an up and coming neighborhood with a lot of development and we wanted to be apart of that!

What makes this property unique

Our airbnb is unique because it’s decorated with bright and airy coastal vibes! I didn't want to do the traditional nautical beach look, but rather was inspired by the movie Where the Crawdads Sing. The queen room is "Kya's Room" and the king room is "The Marsh." There are a lot of updates including the kitchen, flooring, tile, etc. We have made the home very child friendly, because we have two young kids. We've added a lot of children's amenities, for traveling families. We also have a high fenced in tree lined back yard, which makes it feel private. We added outdoor furniture, cornhole, and a fire pit for winding down after the beach! The most unique thing of all, is being able to walk to blocks to the small businesses on Castle Street or 3 to the large community park with pickleball and community center!
