IMPORTANT TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING:
This is a new build cabin in a development called Cabins on the Cumberland. We are building 11 cabins and an event venue expected to be totally complete in 2025. Please note that we are still under construction but have made it possible for guests to have a wonderful stay as we bring this to life. You may see and hear our crew during your visit, but since the property is so wonderfully spread out, the noise is usually minimal.
Our boat ramp is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and fishing boats. You must have a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle if you plan to drop your fishing boat in as the ramp is gravel.
Our Game Center was created for you to relax, play, and make memories. To help us keep it fun for everyone, please follow these simple rules: - Treat all games and equipment with care. - Kids under 13 must be supervised by an adult. - No food allowed inside the game center. - No drinks on game tables or electronics. - No smoking of any kind (including vapes). - Be considerate. Share the space and keep noise down after 10 PM. - Return all items to their proper place when you’re done. - Lock the door and close all windows when you leave. - If something gets damaged or stops working, please let us know right away so we can fix it for everyone.
And finally, you are in nature so please be mindful that insects and wildlife live here too. We do have monthly pest control service.

Beautiful place with everything you need to enjoy your getaway. From a fully stocked kitchen, games, toiletry items that you may have forgotten. They have thought of everything. Very clean and comfortable.
Cozy family cabin for a weekend of outdoor adventure
We came up to KY to vist the Cumberland River, Wolf Creek Hatchery and Rockhouse. This cabin was conveniently located and extremely cozy. Our kids loved walking down the ramp to the river and building a fire to make s'mores. The amenities were ample and they even had a coffee station for us parents! 5 out of 5 would stay here again.
Lout trip was everything we planned for and this cabin was absolutely perfect for our 5 person family The manager was very responsive, accommodating and kind, cleaning staff was top notch, I don’t think we could have asked for a better experience. Needless to say, We’ll be back!
Beautiful, well appointed cabin. The hosts have gone above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your stay! From the complete coffee bar, toiletries, laundry supplies, etc. All you need is your clothing and food and you are set! Great place to get away!
This cabin was absolutely perfect and exactly what we were looking for! We loved getting to be right next to the water and waking up to watch it in the morning. The cabin was not hard to find at all and yet it still feels secluded. We were so grateful that the hosts thought of everything and provided little supplies for cooking, coffee, bathroom necessities, laundry, etc.The two things I recommend they provide in the future: ice trays because there isn’t an ice maker and wood for the fire pit. Overall though we highly recommend this place and will be coming back to stay in the future! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
When I arrived, a maintenance guy was blowing out the gutters with a very loud blower. I arrived about an hour after check in time, he couldn't do this sooner? My code did not work to get in the door. It was the last 4 digits of my phone number. I know i keyed it in right but when the host finally called me, she told me I must have keyed it in wrong. The worst part was all the rules that went with the place. I was constantly worried about forgetting something. Lady has more rules than Nick Sabin!

Thank you for your feedback. We want to provide a bit of context around a few of the points you mentioned.
Our maintenance team was on-site during your arrival to ensure the property and shared areas were fully ready for guests. He does work another job, and this was the window he had available to complete that work so everything was in proper condition for your stay.
Regarding the door code, our team did verify the lock on our end. The system showed the incorrect code was entered, which prevented the door from unlocking. That said, we’ll still review this with our team to ensure communication around access is as clear as possible.
As for the house rules, they are in place for guest safety and to protect the experience for everyone. We are a family-friendly development with multiple amenities, and clear guidelines help ensure all guests can enjoy the property comfortably and safely.
We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you the best moving forward.
