Gorgeous Direct Oceanfront

Welcome to 1102 The Plaza -

During the summer (in season), we offer weekly rentals, from Saturday to Saturday. The in season months are May thru September.

Ocean front, Up to date building and beautiful unit -

Just about anything you want to do is within reach - Beach, boardwalk, biking, amusement parks, or just relax in the condo or on the balcony with friends and family. Awesome sun rise and moon rise over the ocean with sun set over the bay. Indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, new Jolly Jellyfish restaurant and Tiki bar, evenings live music, DJ (in season).

The condo is approximately 1200 square feet, the size of a normal one level ranch home. The layout is rectangular with the balcony looking out over the lower deck with Tiki bar, full size pool, and kids pool. The view then expands panoramically over beach and ocean toward the east (Sunrise). The front of the condo faces the west looking out over the bay. Walkways on the front of the building are open giving another wide view of the bay side. Four elevators and two stairways on the front of the building give access to the condo. The front door of this condo is situated just behind one of the stairways sheltering it just a little. This works out well giving a safely nestled in feeling.

As you enter the condo the main hallway extends forward leading you into the condo. When the Living room curtains are open you can see all the way thru to the ocean from the front door. Proceeding forward and left brings you to the Kitchen, then Dining Room, then Living Room and then to a triple wide slider leading onto the balcony (The Wide open Ocean Front Spectacular View). Proceeding forward and right leads to the 2nd bedroom, 2nd bathroom, Laundry, and Master Bedroom including Master Bath. At the front of the condo, (before proceeding in...) the Den is to the left. A queen sleeper sofa, lighting, TV, and dresser allow the den to be used as an optional additional bedroom for a large family. For fun there is also an electronic dart board in the Den.

The master bedroom faces the ocean and has a sliding glass door onto the balcony and a 3-wide window looking out over the beach and ocean. It has a queen size bed plus dresser, TV, stereo, vanity area for her, closet, master bath, 3 lamps, other recess lighting, light bar over vanity area.

The 2nd bedroom is on the front entry side, with two full size beds, TV, closet, dresser, lamps, and telephone.

In the front closet you will find two beach umbrellas, two beach chairs, 1 set of men's golf clubs, 2 helmets for the bicycles, and miscellaneous sand toys.

Located in the bike rack in the lower level of the parking garage you will find two cruiser bicycles marked with number 1102.

With the full asking amount, we include one weekend off season free. With the off season freebie, we do ask that you cover the cleaning fee only ($ 110). The off season months are from November thru March.

Great Family Spot

This property was fantastic! Lots of amenities for our family in the rental unit itself and at the Plaza. Communication from the owners, Terry and Greg was the best and made the stay very smooth. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time here! The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. The views were beautiful! With the easy beach access, pools, hot tub, and tiki bar we easily could have spent our entire vacation on site if we hadn't wanted to explore more of OC. Our family had such a wonderful time. The condo was beautiful. Everything was very clean and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable time. The oceanfront views were awesome! The Plaza, has an indoor and outdoor pool, along with a kiddie pool. The Plaza is located close to many good restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about the condo owners, Terry and Gregg. They checked in on us, to see if there was anything we needed. They are such kind people. We highly recomnend this condo and would love to go back again.

Plaza Fun

Everyone is so friendly at the Plaza! The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice, the crab cake sandwich at the Jungle Bar was incredible, the live music was pretty good as well! Terry and Greg are so informative and wonderful!!! We had such a nice and relaxing week!!

Great spot in a fantastic location

This condo at The Plaza was conveniently located right on the beach with a view that takes your breath away. The MacDonalds are very easy to talk to and were committed to making sure that we had everything we needed for a relaxing, but fun beachfront vacation. The condo was clean and cozy and just waiting for a family game night or a movie after spending a day soaking up the sun by the pool and grabbing some cocktails from the friendly staff at the tiki bar.

Great location and condominium for a beach trip

The property was great, and the owners of this particular condo are fantastic. Communication was clear and prompt timing. The furniture in the condo was well-worn and not particularly comfortable, but not too much time was spent indoors. Would stay in the unit again for sure!

Amazing ocean views

This oceanfront condo has sweeping views. It was wonderful to watch the sunrise. The unit was very clean upon arrival. There was a problem with the washer and the owners were very responsive and it was fixed as soon as possible. I loved the North Ocean City location. The condo complex has a fun pool bar with good drinks and bar food. Our only complaint is that the beds were extremely uncomfortable. After the first night, we had to drive to Salisbury to purchase mattress toppers to make it through the week. Those helped a lot. We did let the owners know so hopefully they replace them for next season.

AMAZING STAY

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very spacious. The view was spectacular, we saw whales and dolphins right from the balcony. The host is very accommodating and very hospitable. I would stay here again and again. This is a top notch vacation stay. The Plaza itself offered so many entertainment options that we didn’t have leave to have a great time. Wonderful people, wonderful stay. You won’t regret staying here.

Great ocean front condo

Nice visit for the week. Could use some upgrades such as living room furniture but is adequate for a rental. Well stocked kitchen could use a pizza cutter. The thinner pot holders should probably be tossed and use the thicker ones as the electric oven and aluminum pan gets very hot. The master bed is new and firm, the guest double beds are springy and older but no real complaints besides flat pillows. This place was pretty pricey compared to previous stay in another unit but that was 3 years ago. Overall satisfied and owners are very good with communicating.

Great location to the beach and pool. It's also within walking distance to the food stores and restaurants. The unit was well furnished with a spectacular view of the ocean from inside and a great view outside from the balcony. The owners were fantastic in being very attentive and helpful if any questions may occur.

Why they chose this property

Regarding neighborhood - The Plaza building on 98th street was the last high rise built in 1985. It was the newest until 2008. Gateway Grand (2008) is now 17 yrs old at ~ 48th st. We like the upper end of Coastal Hwy. We looked at Gateway Grand but honestly prefer The Plaza. Plaza Windows open, balconies are open. All the units are Ocean Front. We like fresh air. The Plaza is situated on the beach between Pyramid and Century I. Plaza was the most expensive and best unit on our tour. It is gorgeous direct ocean front and has all the amenities. It is a nice balance of everything...

What makes this property unique

Besides ocean front - condition, cleanliness amenities and service. With 4 streaming flatscreens, cruiser bikes, golf clubs, beach chairs, umbrellas and more we hope to make your vacation enjoyable. This property is in a continual process of clean+fix+repair+replace with yearly-pre-season improvements.

Regarding Ocean City - It is situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean.

Regarding things to do - We like to soak up the sun, play on the beach, build sand sculptures, go for walks, or just hang out and relax in the unit. We also like to go to Northside park, picnic, ride bikes, fish and crab off the pier. We ride the surrays down on the boardwalk and like to check out the shops. We like frontier town and the frontier town water park too...Morning sunrises are awesome and the moon rise over the ocean on a calm night is really cool something we can only see at the ocean. The perpetual sight and sound of waves crashing on the beach is mesmerizing. Sunlight glittering over the water? Wishing we were there now! :)
