Cozy Cottage, 1 minute walk to Beach

Fully restored after hurricane Helene, this property is only a one minute easy walk to the white sugary sand beach. This cozy tropical vacation rental has two bedrooms, two baths, living room and kitchen. There is a king bed in the master bedroom with attached bathroom and two twins in second bedroom. Also enjoy outdoor living with your private outside patio with a gas grill, table, chairs, lounges and night accent lights.
Located in the quiet residential section of the north end of Clearwater Beach, this property has tropical landscaping and comfortable furnishings. Shared laundry facilities are located on the property.
Beach chairs and beach towels are all included for an enjoyable vacation. Trolley service comes by the house every thirty minutes to all beach activities, shops, restaurants and other local beaches. The Beach Aquatic Center, located about a mile south, has a large pool with attached children's play area with slides, squirting water jets and waterfalls - plenty of room for sunbathing, large umbrellas for shade and a family picnic area - ask us for free passes! Tennis and pickleball courts are located less than a mile away. Enjoy walking? Take a beautiful beach walk to the famous Caladesi Island State Park, located about 1.5 miles north.

Super cute pet friendly accommodations very close to the very nice dog friendly beach. The rental, linens and supplies were clean and comfortable. We loved the fenced in yard and outdoor dining table. Maryellen is a thoughtful and friendly host who is easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was clean and so close to the beautiful beach! The hosts were very helpful and friendly and there were no issues. We really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas. It was quiet but still very close to Pier 60. Would love to come back and stay on this property!

The perfect little beach bungalow to escape to paradise for a week - Mary Helen is wonderful to work with and her home was clean and perfect and just a short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach.

Quiet property w/easy beach access

Perfect for the two of us. Easy short walk to beach access. Longer walk to shops & dinner, but doable if you don't want to mess with parking in town. Great communication with host. Loved the hike to Caladesi.

Best Location for Vacation

Sandpiper was truly as advertised! Great location, only a very short walk to the beach and very comfortable for my family of five. Close to an active nightlife near Pier 60 but far enough for a quiet neighborhood. MaryHelen was a great host and we hope to return to Sandpiper on our next trip to Clearwater.

Great property with 2 bed/2 bath. Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. Pet friendly. Beds were comfortable; 2 twin beds in second bedroom is perfect for 2 children. Property manager was always available by phone when needed.

We cant say enough about our gracious hosts; Dave and Maryhelen. The property was perfect and exactly what was expected from the description given. The neighborhood is beautiful. It is actually 1min from the beach. Shops dining and water activities are also within walking distance.

Moving Down

My husband and I rented this home for us to move my daughter down to St. Petersburg. We thought we would get to know the area by staying in Clearwater. The location was perfect for walking distance to the beach into the stores into the restaurants. Mary Helen was excellent to work with and took care of any question that I had. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location & Wonderful Amenities

The property is one block from the beach in quiet area of Clearwater beach but within a short walking distance to all the activity. Amenities included beach chairs, beach towels, small outside area for the dogs among others. Owners are incredibly helpful and responsive. Highly recommend. We will definately return.

Amazing stay!!

This is a terrific place to stay in Clearwater Beach...5 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the restaurants in a quiet and very safe, friendly neighborhood...Maryhelen is available 24/7 and the 2 bedroom 2 bath has everything you need....there is also a patio shaded with umbrella that makes morning breakfast fun again....there are bikes, beach chairs, gas grill and a laundry room....it is very, very clean!

What an amazing trip!

From the minute that we got to the Sandpiper we knew we had made the right choice! We had been debating on staying in one of the hotels closer to town and I’m so glad we didn’t. The Sand Piper is in the perfect location, it was so quiet and peaceful and just a brief walk to the beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful and also peaceful! It was really nice to have the bikes to ride to town, and all the beach toys for our son. The property was also well taken care of, and very comfortable! We will definitely be coming back! Comfy, convenient beach bungalow for small party and pets!

Maryhelen was an excellent host and her Sandpiper home was just perfect for our us and our 2 pups! Location was just short of a mile to the “strip” of Clearwater Beach restaurants, bars, shops, the Pier, etc and the beach access just a block away!! We especially loved the outdoor space with fenced in yard! Maryhelen maintained communication throughout our stay and was available if needed- but we didn’t need anything since the home itself met all our needs for a relaxing, comfortable vacation and we are already planning our next trip to the Sandpiper :) Thank you for a great experience in 1 of our favorite vacation spots!!

As described

This property worked out well for our family of two adults and two teenagers. The highlights of the property were: location to beach access and in a less busy part of town, nice outdoor space, grill, bikes, beach gear, comfortable beds and communication with the owner. The wifi and dishwasher did not work well but it sounds like the owner will be addressing those issues soon.

Beautiful Property, Great North Beach Location

We loved everything about the Sandpiper! Great neighborhood, quiet, and steps to the beach. The house was well stocked with everything needed from bikes, beach equipment, grill, and a well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor patio was lovely and the furniture was new and very comfy. The North Beach location is close to bars, restaurants, and an easy drive to Dunedin or spring training games. MaryHelen the owner was awesome! Great communication and area tips to help with our stay. She went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for us! We look forward to enjoying the Sand Piper again in the future! Beautiful Northwoods Retreat

This is a great northwoods property that is well equipped with all the creature comforts of home. The hosts Troy and Mike were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure the stay was relaxing and comfortable from check in to check out. Our group of six snowmobilers were all middle aged men and everyone was comfortable with plenty of space to relax after a long day on the trails or playing in the backcountry. Mike went above and beyond to take us out and show us how to access the trail and find some of the local destinations that were worth seeking out. Kitchen is well equipped to cook anything you want, and the hot tub was clean and a perfect way to unwind and soak the old bones. Overall this was an A+ property and worth checking out in any season if you are looking for a high end rental in the Northwoods.

Great host, great location.

Maryhelen was great to work with and so responsive! The location and neighborhood of the house couldn't have been better with a very short walk to the beautiful beach. The house had plenty of room for my family of 3 and the beach chairs, umbrellas and outdoor shower were so nice to have! My one piece of feedback that may benefit the host is to perhaps look for a new cleaning crew or ask the crew to clean the washer and outside furniture. Overall everything was good but there was sand on the sheets of the master bed the first night. I think this came from the washing machine that was likely used for towels and things from the beach and the laundry basket used to carry the sheets back to the house. Its so helpful to have a washer/dryer and because of proximity to the beach it may be best to run a cleaning cycle more often on the washer/dryer. Also, the outside furniture was covered in sand. A quick sweeping takes care of it and could be done easily between guests so everything is ready to use.

Quiet Neighborhood

We booked this unit last minute as we changed our vacation plans. We enjoyed the quiet, residential neighborhood away from the crowds. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach, which was convenient. Full kitchen and outside grill was nice! We appreciated the use of beach towels and chairs, however these are shared with the unit next door so you aren’t guaranteed the use of these items. Many of the chairs were broken and not able to be used. Picture in listing shows some beach toys that are not offered (ex boogie boards), so we had to purchase our own. One of the bikes had a flat tire that wouldn’t hold air even after filling. The outside area was large but was very dirty, so we did not use it. Both showers had mold/mildew and could use an updated shower head. Some of the bath towels had stains. Updates needed as there were several holes in walls. Master bed could use a new mattress. Overall, a nice unit considering our last minute booking.

I'm originally from Mt. Vernon, Indiana, but came to Clearwater 53 years ago to live in this beautiful tropical paradise. After graduating high school in Indiana I went in search of palm trees. I headed to Florida, with two places circled on the map, Clearwater and Palm Beach, simply because the names sounded so pretty. Came first to Clearwater and ended up staying and never made it to Palm Beach. Clearwater Beach was amazing then just as it is now! I married a local 5th generation Florida guy and our children are now proud to be 6th generation Floridians. Our family loves the beach and the water, and make it a part of our lives.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home to make it available to my family and other families that want to visit Clearwater Beach as I did years ago. It's so much nicer experiencing a beach vacation in a home rather than a motel room.

What makes this property unique

Our home is ideally located on north beach in the quiet residential neighborhood of Clearwater Beach. Close enough to walk or bike ride to the restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., yet in the quieter part of the beach where it feels like home. The beach access is a short distance away - a one minute easy walk by foot. You still are close to shopping, dining, charter fishing and a myriad of activities. The best of both worlds- come see for yourself!
