Welcome to Cottage Charm, a fitting name for this dreamy apartment located on the second floor of a Dollhouse-style home just 5-miles from Downtown Nashville. The space has been beautifully restored with elegant furnishings to complement its original features.

The Space:
A beautiful brick exterior gives you a warm invitation to the home as soon as you arrive. Follow the paved walkway to your private entry that features a lovely chandelier and covered breezeway.
Once up the stairs, you’ll enter the one-floor apartment that is tastefully designed with hardwood floors and tons of windows allowing beams of natural light.

The living room has a smart TV for guests.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with a full suite of modern, stainless steel appliances and extra kitchenware for your convenience including; a blender, coffee maker, and toaster. A separate dining space is complete with a chandelier and circle table seating up to 5 guests. Or, bring your morning brew or meal outside on the large upper deck.

The home has the ability to sleep 5 guests comfortably between 2 bedrooms, a Twin Bed (stored in the closet next to the washer and dryer) linens are on the shelf directly above it. and the sofa sleeper. The bedrooms are stunning with their own themes of decor and linens.

A full bathroom with beautiful tiling from floor to ~almost~ ceiling also features a shower/tub combo.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood less than 15-minutes from the heart of Downtown Nashville. Attractions such as Music Row, The Belmont Mansion, and Fairgrounds Speedway can be reached within a 10-minute drive. Guests can easily walk to Lipscomb and be first in line to take a picture at the “I Believe In Nashville” Mural, just 1.2 miles away. The Bluebird Cafe, a cozy and iconic music club is just 1.6 miles away or a 5-minute drive. If you’d like to get some shopping done, The Mall at Green Hills is also 5 minutes by car.

It was hot during the day. We could not get it to go below 78 degrees all day. We also could not get the TV in the master to work. It appeared that there was not enough WIFI for the TV.

Air conditioning needs help

The air conditioner was unable to keep the house at a comfortable temperature. Owner was responsive and tried to help with fans and portable AC unit, but I definitely would not stay here in the summer again.

Perfect for our stay!

This location was walkable distance to Lipscomb where our daughter is attending. Very clean place and private. The deck is an awesome feature to enjoy a western sun in the adternoon.

Great neighborhood- cozy home

We enjoyed our stay! The place had everything we needed! Cozy beds, clean. Also nice to get away from the bustle of Nashville downtown at the end of the day! (Only complaint was some weird dinging sound coming from a private locked door? )

We couldn't have asked for a better space for my old military friend and I to catch up!! Away from the hustle and bustle to be able to sleep peacefully and talk, but close enough to Uber to and from Broadway! Beautiful home.

Comfortable Cottage

Our stay was very welcoming, relaxed and enjoyable. The only suggestion that we had is change out the shower head, feels like pins and needles are hitting you, and put some sort of skid proof in the tub. Thank you, we will be back.

Adorable cottage in beautiful neighborhood

This cottage is about 5 minutes from Lipscomb, and in a lovely neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable, and the space was perfect for three of us to stay for a long weekend visiting our daughter at college. It's an older house, and the cottage is an apartment upstairs above the house with it's own entrance. This was a little confusing in the description online and we asked for clarification on where to park. You do need to park in the driveway to the right of house. You will see a gold mailbox by the driveway. If you can clarify this, it should clear everything up. No problem getting into the house, the keypad is pretty standard now at most VRBO's where we have stayed. I would absolutely rent this again.

Quiet stay - close to downtown but far away enough from the hustle and bustle

It was very clean and fully stocked with all the amenities. It was unclear if other guests or the owners were living in other parts of the home. So random noises and what sounded like vacuuming in the middle of the night from the other side of locked doors kind of threw us off. The space was great, the location was great, the amenities were great! A nice place to stay when visiting Nashville!

Overall Great Stay in a Great Location!

We loved the location of this apartment. It was close to all of the exciting parts of Nashville and was in a very nice neighborhood. The check-in and check-out process were very easy and communicated in a timely manner. Our only complaint was a mysterious, constant beeping coming from behind a door marked "PRIVATE. Alarm will sound." When I contacted the property management to inquire about this, I never received a response. Other than that, our stay was great!

Prime Location

This was the ultimate location as my son was attending a computer coding camp at Vanderbilt University. However. I did have a couple of issues while staying here. When we arrived the thermostat was set to a temperature of 68 however the internal temperature was at 76. When i reached out to the property management team i was informed that they would have someone come out this was at 6:24pm. I reached back out at 8:04pm and at this time i was informed that there would not be anyone coming out until the next day. I also infomed them of the tub drain not working and i was instructed to check for any blockage. Maintenence arrived the next day. Maintenance stated the issue was resolved that morning. Later that evening I reached back out around 4:53pm as it was still extremely hot and showing 76 degrees as the internal temperature. I was instructed to close all blinds to help keep the temperature down but unfortunately there was no real fix. Although the property had an amazing location we would not stay again as there was no sense of urgency to ensure that we were comfortable as guests.

Charming Cottagw

Place was in a very nice neighborhood and area of Nashville 15 minutes max to everything we decided to do. Uber to Broadway was only $12 (+tip). The 2 ‘negatives’ Couch- (guess it’s a sofa bed) - is very uncomfortable to sit or lay on while hanging out. Needs replacing. Roof deck needs a small deck box for the seat cushions. We had rain every night and cushions were unusable since they were out and never dried out. Definitely a good place to stay though. Fixing the negatives would really make it much better.

Quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our weekend visit to Nashville. We decided on this property, it fit our needs. I felt the area seemed safe and I felt comfortable. The apartment was cute, set up nicely with the bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment. The outside deck could use a little TLC, but was still very very functional. We had coffee out there and pre-concert cocktails (Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies were absolutely phenomenal, but that's a review for another page! ) The AC didn't get as low as we set it, but was still cool enough (73, set for 68)... in all fairness it was very very hot that weekend. Overall, it was a great spot!

This stay was terrible from the beginning. We showed up and the temperature was 76 degrees inside. The air conditioner wasn't working properly. There was a portable air conditioner in one of the rooms and fans in the rest of the rooms. They know they have a problem and didn't own up to it. The temperature actually went up to 77 degrees. I contacted the company that was renting it out and they just kept on giving me 'sorry about the inconvenience, we will get back to you'. They said they were in contact with the local maintenance company. Now they are saying I denied them access into the unit to investigate, but that wasn't true. I never denied them access. My 87 year old mother in law was extremely uncomfortable!!! The TV service didn't work either. I am still working with VRBO to get reimbursement. I definitely will not be staying here again.

Family Reunion Trip to Nashville

My 2 adult children and I probably never would have traveled to Nashville, for nearly a week long vacation, had a few of our distant relatives not organized a wonderful family reunion, at their two, beautiful, new homes, both in Brentwood and Nolensville, here in Nashville, Tennessee!n We looked on a map and chose this location, due to it's proximity to their two homes, as well as other sights and natural areas of interest.We were not at all disappointed with this location, since we come from NYC, and we're liking to stay outside the city heat of the city,where most moplaces that we wanted to visit. Barking Dogs

The location was amazing and the space was super cute. The renters downstairs had 2 dogs that barked all hours of the day and night and woke up our little kids. Our visit was miserably hot in Nashville so the apartment being upstairs was very very hot and unable to cool down. The fan in the back bedroom only works with the light on so that made it pretty uncomfortable to sleep.

Really liked the close proximity to Green Hills (Lipscomb University particularly) very cute home with beautiful character, and the rooftop deck was amazing! Couch was a little rough to sit on as it sunk, but we weren't on it much. I would definitely recommend if you want more than a hotel room in the area, as we wanted two bedrooms. They were on opposite ends of the home which provided nice privacy. Great to have a kitchen and frig/ice as well!
