Greg's place was great. A nice location, very clean and well decorated, just as described. The location was quiet and central to our activities and we will rebook when in the area.

Such a great stay for a few days!! It had everything we needed to be able to relax & make some meals at home. It was so cozy. The perfect cabin stay, and the trees & lake around the property are beautiful! The host was super communicative & honestly everything worked great so there was no need to message the host about anything. Would 100% stay again!!

The property was perfect! Comfortable, quiet, very clean and well situated. It was the perfect size cottage for the two of us. It had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Water tasted great. We watched deer from the windows in the early morning and in the evening. We are thankful that we found this gem near Acadia.

My sister and I had a really wonderful stay at Greg’s Pretty Pond Cottage. The property is peaceful and gorgeous, the house is comfortable and well-equipped and was in an incredible location in close driving distance to everywhere we wanted to be: Acadia, SW and NE Harbor, Bar Harbor, etc. It was a perfect home base for us for 4 days of hiking in the park and some fun dinners out at nearby restaurants.When we had a question about getting the heat to come on, Greg responded very quickly and even came over to help us in person which we very much appreciated. A lovely, well thought out rental with a great host.

Excellent stay at a lovely cabin in the woods. Everything was IMMACULATE when I got there, and everything that you needed was right there. The owners were communicative and left nice touches in and around the cabin like soap and shampoo and wood for the fire. A very nice retreat for a family to go to Acadia!

We loved our stay at Pretty Pond Cottage! It was clean and a convenient home-base for exploring Acadia NP and all the area has to offer. We loved the fire pit and easy access to nearby Long Lake and Somes Pond for kayaking. We also loved the location on “the quiet side” of the island, away from the crowds, yet within 15 minutes of Bar Harbor and 30 minutes of most attractions. Our host, Greg, was welcoming (left the lights on for us when we arrived and a hand-written note) and available, yet allowed us our privacy. We would stay here again!!

This is a beautiful property off the main drag and away from the crowds. I found it more spacious than the pictures made it out to be. Everything was clean and well appointed. The host was super responsive in all communications. It is the perfect location to be central to everything on Mount Dessert Island. Only a short drive to Bar Harbor and/or Bass Harbor. It was absolutely perfect!

Cottage was delightful. Location was awesome for all our planned sightseeing adventures in Acadia. Cooked dinner at the cottage a couple nights, then sat by the fire. Cottage was well equipped with every thing we needed. Great place to stay when visiting Acadia!

Beautiful Pretty Pond Cottage

Loved the charming and very clean cottage. Enjoyed every morning on the front porch with a cup of coffee overlooking the beautiful nature and pond. Wish we could have spent more time there!

Excellent launching point for the National Park, really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Utilized the fire pit and grill. A lot of time and detail has gone into renovating this cottage and it shows. Did not want to leave!
