We were in town for Easter weekend and this home was great for our needs. It is in a quiet historic neighborhood from which we enjoyed the walks to town with our dog. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our first time to New Bern and we loved our house. We were in for a family wedding and the house worked out perfectly. The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house was well equipped and well appointed. We would highly recommend staying at this property.
This old house is filled with charm! Tall ceilings, wooden floors and vintage furnishings were coupled with beautifully renovated bathrooms. The downsides were creaky and uncomfortable beds and an unusable outside space in the back.
Nice house but very old ( it is historical ) Back deck does not have great scenery - houses on all three sides with cinder block wall as partOf fence lineWalking distance to great places in downtown
This old house is very charming and in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to local restaurants and downtown for shopping. Keep in mind that this is an old house but some simple updates could make this a great stay. The back porch area needs a lot of work and was not a comfortable place to sit without much cleaning. The front porch had only one chair (I suspect the renters in the attached unit took it as they had 3) and could not be used by more than one person to have coffee or cocktails. Beds were comfortable enough but pillows were not. Plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms were good sizes as well.

What makes this property unique
Its cozy, yet spacious with a unique historic charm. Marvel at the build quality of homes that were built at the turn of the 1900's.
