This was one of the best rental properties we have ever been. The house is ideally located, spotlessly clean with high end appliances and comfortable beds. Ashley was a great host and made our stay even more comfortable. My family and I really enjoyed our time and we are looking forward to staying at Casita on Ninita in the future. Definitely 5 stars.

It was a pleasure hosting Francisco and his adorable family. They took impeccable care of my home, and communication was a breeze. I would highly recommend him and his family to any future hosts and would be thrilled to welcome them back to La Casita on Niñita anytime.
We had a wonderful time! The house was very cozy and made for a great hub for our holiday time adventures as a family of 5 in Santa Fe. Location was super convenient and we really enjoyed the decor as well inside. Ashley was very thoughtful and incredible hostess. She even had a fun NYE basket prepared for us with goodies and fun hats! Would highly recommend considering it!

About the host
Hosted by Ashley Trujillo
Hi, I’m Ashley, the owner and host of La Casita on Niñita. I’m a local mom of two and have called northern New Mexico home since 1979.
I care deeply about creating a space that feels clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. I’m nearby and hands-on when needed, while still respecting my guests’ privacy. My goal is simple: for you to feel relaxed, taken care of, and at home during your stay in Santa Fe.
Why they chose this property
I bought this home in 2010, when I was working downtown and wanted to be close to everything. I was drawn to the walkable location, the coziness of the house, its thoughtful details, and the garden, where every stone and latilla was brought from northern New Mexico and placed with care. My first son was born here, and it’s been a meaningful place to me ever since.
What I love most about the neighborhood is how easy it is to step out and be part of it. You can stroll to La Choza for a great meal, spend Saturday mornings at the Railyard Farmers Market, catch summer concerts in the park, or take long walks along the nearby bike paths.
It’s a place where you can be as relaxed or as active as you like, all within a few blocks.
What makes this property unique
What sets this home apart is the level of care in the details. It’s consistently clean, thoughtfully equipped, and designed for ease and comfort.
The kitchen is well stocked with high-end appliances, a Vitamix, and a full coffee and tea setup. There’s filtered hot and cold water, radiant floor heat in the bathroom, and a deep soaking tub for unwinding.
I’m also happy to prepare the sofa bed or pack & play in advance when needed, so everything is ready on arrival.
As a hands-on host, I take pride in how the space is prepared so guests can settle in and feel at ease right away.
