NEW RESTAURANT AND POOL OPEN. no golf course yet, but coming soon

Over looking the Playa Macenas Beach is this larger then average 1st floor 2 bedroom luxury apartment , The terrace is equipped with a bistro table and 4 chairs. Main bedroom has a King size bed with en-suite. Second bedroom has two single beds with access to second bathroom containing Shower, Toilet and Wash basin.
Kitchen is fully equipped with Large upright Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Ceramic Hob, Electric Oven and Microwave. Available also is an ironing board and iron. The Large Sitting room has a 32' LCD TV. DVD player, Stereo. Many DVD's for Adult and Children included. Email for latest list.
The dining room has a Large Oak table with six leather chairs. Air conditioning and heating.


Apartment: This apartment has its own street level parking next to the entrance. The communal pool is located at the side of this apartment. STRICTLY NO SMOKING INSIDE THE APARTMENT. NO PETS ALLOWED.

Access to the beach is via an underground walkway in front of the club house.
The communal pool is just to the right of my apartment.

Nearby Mojacar has several miles of stunning sandy beaches with endless restaurants and food choices. Several Night clubs that go on to the early hours for the insomniacs or those who just like to party.

When we arrived and obtained our keys through the key safe we were astounded by the condition of the apartment, it was filthy and there was penetrating damp on the lounge walls. Outside the apartment there was drainage works being completed which were noisy and disruptive but the most disturbing part was the empty swimming pool which had turned into a green slimy puddle and the clubhouse bar which was closed, both the pool and clubhouse had obviously been closed for a very long time and this was not mentioned at all in the owners description. We had driven several hours to get to the apartment and then had to find alternative arrangements. We reported this to VRBO who were useless and eventually the owner got in touch the next day and processed a refund. I understand the owner has now amended the description but has not added photos, be aware the pool and clubhouse are not just closed they are a derelict mess.

I am very saddened to have read this review . A most unfortunate series of events has ruined one of my many valued guests holiday this year . Firstly , Unknown to me and without any notice to residents , works on replacing drainage were being carried out right next To the apartment. A skip was also placed in front of my apartment block. Not a good start ! Secondly , my cleaner had entered the wrong dates for this booking and the apartment was not ready. This will be a first in the 12 years that this has happened and clearly other reviews show the apartment has always been very clean and presentable on guests arrival. Although It is mentioned that the golfing and club facilities are closed , This did not help the fact that recent storms had brought from the Sahara some very sandy rain and partly filled the pool which made it look very dirty. I have not seen this for myself as I am resident in the UK. I could not have felt more sorry for this couple and were to offer them free usage of the apartment as compensation. As soon as I heard of these disasters I instructed Vrbo to immediately return all of their money. Apart from the closure of the club pool and golfing the apartment is still very beautiful with great sea views and a very close communal pool for use of guests. In addition I have bought beach chairs and sun beds for guests to take to the beach or pool area. I had no control of any of these events and have sent several emails with apologies. Un séjour parfait

Nous connaissons bien ce resort pour y avoir séjourné à de nombreuses reprises, et l’appartement de Peter bénéficie d’un emplacement et d’une vue sur la mer exceptionnelle ! L’appartement est très agréable chaleureux et accueillant. Excellente communication avec Peter. Bref, de très belles vacances. Merci beaucoup Peter, à refaire !

EXCELENTE

El alojamiento esta emplazado en una urbanización muy tranquila, tiene muy buena distribución, muy amplio, con todo lo necesario para sentirte como en casa. las vistas desde la terraza son estupendas, y desayunar o comer allí es muy reconfortante. La plaza de parking esta pegada al alojamiento por lo que el acceso es muy rápido. Peter estuvo muy pendiente de cualquier pregunta que le hacíamos y todo lo resolvió con mucha amabilidad, estuvo muy pendiente de nuestras necesidades, es un anfitrión estupendo. Alojamiento muy recomendable para personas que busquen tranquilidad y rutas senderistas desde la misma casa.

We were so pleased with the apartment. Spotlessly clean, lovely and light an bright with beautiful views to the sea. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. Estupenda estancia.

Estuvimos de vacaciones familiares, 2 adultos y dos chicos mayores y estuvimos estupendamente. El apartamento es amplio, tiene 2 baños y una terraza con unas vistas estupendas. Aire acondicionado, lavavajillas (siempre es un plus) y todo lo necesario para pasar muy buena estancia. Peter es un anfitrión estupendo, comunicábamos por mail rápidamente y estuvo atento y dando facilidades a lo que fue necesario. El apartamente estaba limpio a nuestra llegada. Está enfrente de la playa de las Macenas, alejado del bullicio de Mojácar playa, así que si buscas tranquilidad aquí se encuentra. Por contra estás "lejos" de supermercados, restaurantes, etc. Pero nada que no se solucione con cinco minutos de coche. La urbanización es tranquila y con una piscina comunitaria muy agradable.

Apartamento perfecto

Apartamento y urbanización perfectos para nuestros gustos, unas vistas desde el apartamento inmejorables, lugar tranquilo, acogedor y perfectamente equipado. Great apartment in quiet location

This is a superb apartment situated in a quiet development just outside Mojacar. Very well maintained, we found the apartment clean and comfortable with all the equipment you'd need for an enjoyable holiday. Wonderful views of the sea from the balcony and of the mountains from the front of the apartment . You can always find a sunny spot to relax in whether it be on the balcony in the morning or the large area outside the front door in the afternoon, which incidentally is very private. The kitchen is well equipped and the double bed comfortable. As the apartment is situated a short distance from the shops and restaurants you would probably need a car for shopping etc, however we found driving very easy in this area with a large Mercadona supermarket being about a 10-15 minute drive. All in all we would certainly recommend this apartment for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Un superbe appartement

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet appartement. Le propriétaire est disponible et réactif (il a dû gérer à distance un problème de climatisation réglé le jour-même). La vue sur la mer depuis l'appartement est magnifique et le soir vous vous laissez bercer par le son des vagues. L'appartement est très bien équipé et confortable, il est spacieux. La climatisation est très appréciable. Le lotissement est très bien entretenu, la piscine est très belle, et c'est relativement calme. Sans oublier les superbes plages qui se trouvent à proximité. Nous pensons sûrement revenir dans cet appartement.

Peaceful and beautiful views.

Wonderful apartment in a quieter part of Mojacar Playa. Everything inside is well set out and all the kitchen untensils,Wifi,Tv,music-system, DVDs etc are provided to make for a very relaxing and trouble free stay. Lovely balcony with table/chairs and the sun from rise until afternoon. In the late afternoon and evening we sat on the apartments terrace at the front to continue to enjoy the sunshine. Great offroad dedicated parking place. Easy walk to beach. When we stayed the Golf complex was closed but that was not a concern at all. The main Playa beach was a 2 minute drive around the bay and there were so many restaurants,bars and shops to choose from it was amazing. Very nice holiday apartment and we would not hesitate to stay again.

Bonne description mais détails manquants

L'appartement est correctement décrit dans l'annonce, il manque juste une cafetière électrique et une hotte qui fonctionne mais ce n'est pas bien grave, la vue est superbe depuis la terrasse, une table rectangulaire serait 100 fois plus pratique car celle ci est minuscule, et un matelas neuf dans la grande chambre ne serait pas du luxe mais ça va quand même. Le problème est ailleurs ... La magnifique piscine qu'on voit sur le descriptif (qui ne fait pas partie de la location) est vide, et le club house/bar est fermé depuis novembre 2014, (mais une petite piscine communautaire existe à 20 mètres de l'appartement). Si vous êtes golfeur, il faudra prendre votre voiture pour faire une dizaine de Km, car le golf est à l'abandon depuis la même date. Voiture obligatoire aussi pour les courses, car isolé du village de Mojacar de 2 kilomètres. Et la plage si proche qu'on voit au fond de la photo et qui est très peu fréquentée, impose soit des pieds en aciers soit des chaussures pour se baigner car il y a une ligne de petits rochers plats à franchir. En résumé : l'appartement est bien mais situé dans une zone un peu sinistrée où plein de maisons et immeubles n'ont pas été terminés. C'est très calme avec des gardiens aimables. A mon avis, le montant de la location est un peu surévalué.

la fermeture de la piscine et du golf a été notifiée au client avant la réservation. un rabais a également été accordé pour cette raison. le capot fonctionne parfaitement, vous devez le sortir pour l'activer. cela est dit sur le devant. les cafetières sont dans le placard. désolé, vous ne trouvez pas le matelas confortable. c'est une combinaison de mousse à mémoire et à ressorts. cela n'a jamais été mentionné auparavant. je vais examiner. Je tiens beaucoup à ce que mes invités se sentent à l'aise et disposent de nombreux équipements supplémentaires pour les invités que les autres établissements n'ont pas. Cordialement the closure of the pool and golf was notified to the guest before a booking was made. a discount was also given because of this. the hood works perfectly you have to pull it out to activate . it says so on the front. the coffe pots are in the cupboard. sorry you dont find the mattress comfortable. it is sprung and memory foam combination. it has never been mentioned before. i will look into it. I am very keen to make my guests comfortable and have many extras facilities for guests that other properties dont have. Regards

Lovely, quiet apartment with sea views

I love this apartment- it's the second time we come and we will definitely rent it again. The apartment is very comfortable and homely and has everything you need. It feels like a home rather than a holiday rental. It's quiet and peaceful and you've got amazing sea views from the terrace where you can sit and enjoy your coffee in the morning and a few glasses of wine at night. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. It's clean, modern, and the owner is quick to reply with any queries you may have. The pool, which we didn't use as we prefer the beach, is a good size and has a bar next to it and only a minutes walk from the apartment.

mejor apartamento que jamas hemos estado

llevamos 5 años veraneando en este apartamento decir que mr peter es muy atento en todo tiene su apartamento limpisimo y no le falta ningun detalle decir que lo tiene en el mejor sitio de la urbanizacion y la zona es muy tranquila para descansar fuera del jaleo que puede ocasionar la playa de mojacar sin duda repetire siempre que pueda gracias por todo mr peter
