About this property

Great Condo at the base of Schuss Mountain!

The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a separate sitting area and the upstairs bedroom has two queen beds and one twin size trundle bed underneath.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of your dishes, pots and pans a crock pot and a Keurig coffee machine (we provide you with about 8 - 10 kcups). Come share our home away from home!
We are within walking distance to the yellow chair lift, Ivan's, the Schuss ski shop, indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, dog sled rides and more! The town of Bellaire (home of Short's Brewery) is just a short ride away where there is shopping, groceries, restaurants, boat rentals and more.

The ower was very responsive and communicative. The home was clean and had everything we needed. My children loved ending every night at the resort pool. The beautiful sunset was breathtaking. I would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed with our son and girlfriend who both turned 21 recently. We were celebrating with them by visiting wineries around Torch Lake. This was a perfect location to do so. The codo fit all our needs and the owner was very responsive and allowed us a later checkout so our son could take an exam before he went back to college.We enjoyed our weekend away and so will you if you choose to stay here.

Fun, cute & comfy condo

Excellent stay in this super cute condo! It was the perfect place for our family of 6. It was clean, cozy & very comfortable. Kids had a nice big bedroom in the loft with a fun play space and bathroom. Lots of amenities….basically anything you might need…..was available in the condo for our use. This was perfect for myself, my husband, and our 20&23 yr old daughters. Nicely remodeled and equipped little kitchen, and even a stocked spice cabinet! The second full bathroom was so nice to have too! Good communication from our hostess too!

This was THE PERFECT location to all we needed! We towed our boat from OH to spend the week on Torch Lake. We rented a slip from Luhr’s Landing, however…there was ample parking at the condo to save the expense if you don’t mind pulling/putting your boat in daily.We used the indoor pool once but really, we just enjoyed Michigan! We were within an hour and a half of Mackinac Island, a special place for us, Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes so, we visited there as well. I would absolutely stay here again and again! My children thought it was a castle and that we were the royal family. My son loved riding bikes all over the grounds with my husband. This was a trip for the memory bank

Very nice and quiet

Comfortable beds. Quiet. Generally, very nice. Plenty of space, utensils, etc. Not enough air conditioning. Needed more wash cloths (only 1 provided) and hand towels for the master bath (none provided). That’s nitpicking, but can make an impression.

Hi Greg, I’m sorry that the temperature was not comfortable for you. We actually had the heat on as it was in the 50s that weekend. Not sure about wash cloths and hand towels. I set it up myself and always leave 4 washcloths and 1 hand towel in that bathroom. There are always extras in the linen clóset upstairs as well. Please know that you can always reach out to your host during your stays. I was only a couple of miles away and would have been happy to come to the condo to get you set up with more towels and i could have instructed you on how to turn on the air conditioning via messaging or phone. Each room had it’s own ac unit and it actually gets quite cold in there.

Wonderful girl’s weekend getaway

We kicked the start of our summer with a teacher’s weekend getaway. The condo was spacious yet cozy. Seven of us fit comfortably in the living room and had plenty of room to sleep. Barbara made sure we got settled in and had everything we need. The book of details and suggestions on the table was helpful. We really enjoyed our weekend away. 😊

Early summer long weekend with the family

Nicely appointed condo at a winter-time ski resort. We stayed during the off season and despite a popular golf course nearby, most of the condos were empty so there was no problem with noisy neighbors at all. Our family of four had plenty of comfortable space to spread out and relax. The furnishings and amenities were more than adequate. We didn't mind the short drive to the outdoor pool on hot days. The rental served as a central point for us to explore Northwest Michigan from Sleeping Bear Dunes, to Traverse City, to Torch Lake, and Charlevoix.

Wonderful Condo

We really enjoyed our stay at Shuss mountain condo. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Since it's located in a ski lodge it is nice and quiet. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. It is close to both Bellaire Lake and Torch Lake. The condo kitchen is very well equipped. Even pool towels were provided. The only downside was the kitchen fridge was not working properly. Thankfully there is a mini fridge in the master. So we used that for all our cold food/drinks. This was our first trip to the beautiful area. We would love to stay again. PS: there is even a gas grill on the deck. Also an umbrella is provided with a table and chairs. We utilized everything!!

Absolutely loved our visit and stay at Shuss Mountain!

Nice cozy clean place, perfect for the 4 of us! Enjoyed a fire at the main complex and a ride on the tram as well as a walk up the hill on a paved path! Perfect location for a fall color tour!
