The spacious living room with a queen-size bed is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure. Book your stay now and take advantage of everything this home has to offer. TVs are available in the living room and all bedrooms. The large kitchen includes 20 place settings and small appliances. The fenced backyard boasts a screened patio with a large hot tub, an attached deck with a patio set, and a BBQ grill, plus plenty of space for kids to play. The private well water system, equipped with a whole-house water filter, water softener, ensures water that’s better than bottled. Now with 25 solar panels to help supply power to the house.

Great Stay!

Loved all the amenities i.e. coffee, snacks that were there upon check in. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Daughter traveling with us said she really appreciated all the hooks in the bathroom so all of her kids had a place for their towels.

Extremely clean, well decorated home with everything a family needs or expects on vacation. Plenty of room for our family of 8, including 6 “kids” ages 17-23. Appreciated the extras, like the stocked snacks and paper products. Loved the fenced in backyard and hot tub. Enjoyed walking the quiet neighborhood daily…Plenty of shops within walking distance. Host was very attentive, helpful, and readily available. Highly recommend, and plan to come back for another stay!

This was our second stay in this propety. We returned because of the space to accomodate 3 generations of our family traveling from out of state and its proximity to our daughter and 3 year old grandson who live in Lady Lake. It is close to the grocery store and is very clean and spacious. The fenced backyard is great to keep the younger grandchildren corraled. The host is very when we had questions

After a lifetime in Medical and Manufacturing, we wanted a change of direction that allowed us to use our Designing and rehabbing skills. We created Village Retreat and Horsey Haven (next door), a haven for those traveling in central Fl.

Why they chose this property

It’s conveniently located near The Villages for visiting family and friends and close to the World Equestrian Center. Within an hour’s drive, you can reach theme parks, the Nature Coast for fishing and wildlife watching, or a charming small town in central Florida. It’s also a perfect spot for your work crew to relax and recharge in a quiet setting.

What makes this property unique

Situated in a peaceful neighborhood of families and retirees, this is the perfect spot whether you’re looking to relax and recharge after your outings or enjoy a quiet stay with friends. (Please note, it’s not ideal for groups looking to party like a frat house.) The spacious home features a private fenced yard and is new construction a few years ago. The furnishings are the result of a collaboration between a professional designer and Dee, who has an incredible eye for design. From the snacks waiting for you after a long day on the road to the comfortable furniture and luxurious beds. Village Retreat is located next to Horsey Haven’s sister house, and if both are rented together, they can accommodate you and 19 of your friends and family. The backyard has a large gate that can be opened, allowing easy access between the two properties.
