Charming Up the Hill Cabin with spectacular views

Welcome to our charming Up the Hill cabin, just two miles from town. Enjoy birds-eye views of the bay, the Homer spit, glaciers, and mountains while you relax on the deck, Please be aware that there are 26 fairly steep steps up to the cabin to get that view. The cabin has a loft with a queen size bed and a fold-down futon in the living room. The kitchen includes a gas stove and a full-sized refrigerator, locally roasted coffee and a small drip coffee maker, toaster, all pots, pans, and utensils, and basic pantry items.

Up The Hill cabin will give you a taste of the true Alaska with all the modern conveniences: You'll have wi-fi and Netflix, and a gas grill on the deck that overlooks the spit, bay, and Grewink glacier. The cabin sits on 1.5 acres offering privacy for your stay. A car is required, and if you fly in from Anchorage rental cars are available at the airport. If you stay in the winter, a four-wheel-drive vehicle may be required to get up the driveway.

We live next door to the cabin and are available any time to make your stay more enjoyable. Many people fall in love with Homer after visiting and want to invest in their own place here. The view is spectacular! The kitchen is well stocked with items left behind by others, I suspect. We had no trouble preparing a meal that we enjoyed on the deck. The stairs to the loft are so much better than a ladder would be but still tricky for old stiff knees and ankles. This is a great rustic cabin.
