The cabin is truly authentic. It has cooling and heating, which were both needed during our stay. If you want something more modern, don’t pick this cabin. If you want to experience a real older cabin, this one is for you. We enjoyed our stay.

Great water pressure in the shower. Hot water was certainly always available. A/C worked well. Refrigerator worked well. All lights worked.Didn't try the stove, hot tub, fireplace, dishwasher, washer, dryer, heater, or electric grill out back.The bed was comfortable and lots of pillows. Two robes in the closet.They have fishing rods and tackle available to fish out back at the office.Felt safe around the property. Well illuminated.It's a really old cabin so you have to give it a break. Very rustic.Will definitely coming back but next time will rent a cabin that allows pets so our dog can come and enjoy everything.Just keep an open mind and remember, it's not the Ritz-Carlton. Definitely glad we booked this.

My stay at the cabins was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Donna and Amber in the office made me feel more like family than a guest. I will definitely be coming back with my family next year.

We booked this cabin for our 25th wedding anniversary and our time away was exactly what we wanted - a roaring fire in the fireplace and cozy time together. Amber was very responsive to our needs, the firewood was well stocked and we came away with more happy memories.

The hosts were very welcoming and helped with things to see and do in the area. Chris’s cabin was very old and authentic. Expect the usual pros and cons from a cabin this old.
