Welcome to your dream vacation home, Barefoot Bungalow. Relax and be refreshed on the patio or roof top deck, bay and mountain views. This 1 BR, 1 bath home has full kitchen, elec. fireplace in LR, Wi-Fi, TV, AC, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, AC, heating, Starling WiFi, kayaks, secure yard. Pull-out bed in LR great for 1 adult or 2 kids. Hiking, swimming, fishing. Walking distance to beaches. Close: Oyster House, JJ’s Cantina, Xochitl Cafe, Wrecked at the Reef. Shared yard with another property. You will be welcomed and enveloped in the beauty unique to Choya Bay.
The house is complete enough to live in full time, which we actually did when we first moved to Mexico. This allowed me to perfect details in the house; very complete kitchen, all you will need.
Park on the pavers directly in front of the house and enter through the front door.
We love dogs and the large yard is secure, however if your dog is small enough to push through narrow fence posts, then a leash would be advised. One or two dogs are welcome; they are an extra one time $15.00 a dog per trip.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We loved this property! Great for our dogs (they especially loved the rooftop observation deck), adorable inside and out, absolutely lovely hosts, and ideal location. We'll be back for sure!

Best place we have stayed in Penasco including resorts/condos. Very clean, very well decorated, and furniture perfectly fit for size of unit. Both hosts Rebecca and Stefan were great, very friendly and accommodating. Definitely our first choice next time we visit Penasco.

Beautiful bungalow

Loved our stay here. It was a very clean & cozy place. The bed was comfortable and I loved the roof terrace. Enjoyed our nights star gazing. The owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Will definitely stay here again.

It was better than i expected it to be. It is perfect for a couple. Nicely decorated. And had everything we needed. Not to mention the host rebecca who goes out of her way, to make sure your every need is met. And then some.

Our hosts Rebecca and Stefan are wonderful! We had the greatest time at their place. Tucked into Cholla Bay, their beautiful home has a casita where we stayed, safe and secure within the gated property. We came in on Christmas Eve, and they were incredibly welcoming having everything ready for us. The casita is a gorgeous 1 bed/1bath with a full kitchen and awesome rooftop deck, perfect for our couple's getaway. We had our dogs with us, and they were welcome too! They provided a wonderful guide to restaurants, shops etc. and a "rules of the road" for Mexico life. As our hosts are full time residents, we felt the sense of community they have with their neighbors. The roads are unpaved sand and very narrow, we often found ourselves walking around rather than driving just to experience life there. Overall it was a really wonderful stay, and we will absolutely be back to visit our new friends in Cholla Bay!
