The house was immaculate and well suited for our family gathering! A fun game room, plenty of bathrooms and a beautiful quiet outdoor space. The owner was always very quick to respond. Check-in was easy. The home is quite remote, so bring what you need. A pretty 30 min drive to Cooperstown.

While visiting Cooperstown for Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony we stayed at Abel’s Acres. The house was huge, clean, comfortable and the perfect setting for relaxing in evenings! Giant kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking. Quiet area for enjoying nature and star gazing. Perfect place for family gatherings.

We stayed at Abels Acres last week with another family while our sons' team played at Cooperstown Dreams Park, which was about 25 mins away. Abel's Acres is a fantastic property. Ray has thought of everything you could possibly need! There are hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms for clothes and towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, so we didn't need to get any of these things at the store. The basement is amazing! It has air hockey, ping pong and fuzzball tables and two Xboxes with so many games. My older son and his friend weren't bored! The bedrooms were spacious and linens and towels were provided. The property is well maintained and quiet. It was a great place to rest and recharge after long days of baseball. Ray was available by text or phone with any questions we had. We will definitely stay there if we visit Cooperstown again!

Everything about our stay was easy! From check in to the amount of things stocked in the house. There is plenty of house since for an extended family like us or for multiple families. The house was stocked with plenty of activities like ping pong, air hockey, an Xbox 360 on each floor with games, movies, etc. A lot of great outdoor seating and space. The kitchen had everything you could want. There were ample linens and towel sets for each guest, washer and dryer, iron, etc. 24 minute drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park

Our family stayed here for our son's week in Cooperstown. The house and property were perfect. Ray was very responsive, allowed us to hook up a RV on the property and host a team dinner. The boys loved the game room and the yard space for wiffle ball. We are hoping to use this place again when we come in 2 years for our other son.

We loved our stay at Abels Acres! It's so beautiful there. The house was amazing and had everything you'd need while staying there. There was plenty of space for everyone both inside and out and the game room was so fun! We saw possums, ground hogs, fire flies, turtles and a beaver. Highly recommend this property!

Great property, lots of room, very clean, kitchen fully stocked with everything needed. Game room lots of fun. enjoyed use of outdoor grills. Owner called prior to our arrival to ensure we had all needed info. Only issue was main cable tv in living room not operating although minor issue as not the main reason for our visit. Would definitely stay again if in the area. 25 minutes from Cooperstown but not difficult to get to town.

The house was gorgeous. Beautiful location and the yard was large.The beds are comfortable and rooms are great size. Very clean house! We enjoyed the game room since it rained the entire weekend. Lots of laughs we shared.We would recommend staying here. Close enough drive to beautiful Cooperstown. Definitely worth the drive. We are a veteran's organization and this was a veteran's retreat. This house was the best equipped rental I've ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many. The kitchen is very well stocked, had everything we needed and then some. Extremely spacious, lots of towels etc, and absolutely spotlessly clean. Host was very kind, and responsive to my questions when I was there during a snowstorm - driveway was plowed very promptly. We really enjoyed staying at this house for Christmas, and if the opportunity arises, I'd love to stay there again in the spring/summer to explore the outside. Very very quiet and peaceful, even the heating system is quiet, we slept like babies for the first time in years! Just a great place.

Visiting from Canada for our first trip to Cooperstown All Star Village. This house was perfect for our families. We were all able to spend our downtime together with plenty of room to spare. The dining area, living room, kitchen and basement were all very spacious. The kids were living the games in the basement but more than that was the open and spacious yard for them to roam and play. Everything was provided! So thankful for this stay, making our week that much more enjoyable!

We were there for a baseball tournament in Cooperstown and the location although was rural it was nice getting away from the hustle and bustle. The host was professional, courteous and responded promptly. A person who served on 911 in ground zero, made it so appreciated for this individual and what he did for our country. However, I will never do business with VRBO. The runaround is atrocious, mean and nobody gives you answers. You’re switched from front line people to supervisors and back to the beginning again. A week or later you’ll get an email- starting all over again. I am owed money and at this point, they can have it! After over a month, IM tired and most likely this is how they do their business, which is owned by expedia by the way.
