'Rest Ashored'- Charming Beach Cottage- Incredible location-Pet Friendly!

The beach and this unique 3-bedroom cosy cottage, across the road from the beach is exactly what you need! This lovely property features 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds, perfect for a family or group of friends. With amenities like a washer and dryer, AC, and WiFi, a full kitchen to cook meals in and a dining room and living room, to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers for your convenience. Linens, bath towels and beach towels are included in your stay. Get cosy on our front porch and sip your morning coffee, and smell the ocean air. After a day on the beach, a newly built deck for sundowners and my personal favorite, an outdoor shower in the back yard will be just what your'e looking for to end a perfect day! Time to relax, and enjoy everything Surf City and our cottage has to offer.
There is much to see and explore and enjoy in Surf City! Please check our notice board in the cottage for local events.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please take trash out and place in the trash carts outside. If you are staying over the weekend, or vacating on a Sunday or Monday, please pull the trash carts to the curb on Sunday night.
Please strip all used linens from beds, beach, bath towels and place them in the shower next to the laundry. Leave quilts and comforters for cleaning crew, as we have limited space in the laundry area
If anything breaks or is not working, please contact us immediately! Our contact info is in the guest album and on the refrigerator.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Parking info. Please park perpendicular to the white fence, to leave 'Owner's Parking' open at all times. There is parking down the driveway.
Observe quiet hours, please be ensure pets do not roam freely into the road or onto neighbor's properties.
Take out trash on a Sunday night for Monday pick up and roll back same day. Extra Trash only extra pick up during high season on a Friday!

Both from New England, we have been trying to recreate the "cottages" around which we grew up near the coast there. The marshes and waterways in North Carolina are the perfect setting to do so:)

Why they chose this property

The area reminds us of New England, where my husband and I are both from.

What makes this property unique

The second oldest cottage on the island! We have refreshed and renewed some of the features but kept the architectural integrity. It's a quirky, unique cosy cottage in the most incredible location. A 1 minute walk across the road and on to the beach! Free parking at the cottage, no headaches about where to park! A 4 minute walk to restaurants and ice cream stores! Only A two minute walk to the donut store!
