Downtown Wilmington pet friendly revival bungalow. You'll love it!
One-of-a-kind, Custom Home with BESPOKE DOG HOUSE! In 1903 a tiny bungalow was placed at the corner of 6th and Church in downtown Wilmington. One hundred and twenty years later it was been rebuilt and reimagined.
We have made a purposeful approach for our guest to preserve the home's original character. An original fireplace now acts as a secondary banister for the staircase. The brick from a second chimney has been repurposed into highly coveted off-street parking. Reclaimed barn wood accents are found throughout and a restored clawfoot tub adorns the upstairs bath.
Uniquely, 601 Church street has two, large bedroom suites, including a first floor king bedroom with ensuite. No matter the time of year sunlight pours in, giving the wide-plank hardwoods a warm glow.
We can't brag enough about the neighborhood. Historic downtown Wilmington's restaurants, shops and award-winning River Walk are a few blocks away but 601 Church claims a quiet corner of its own. Ever the dog lover, we have a replica, bespoke dog house for YOUR furry family member at the picket fence. EVERYONE has a place to call home at 601 Church Street!
2 Bedroom First Floor Queen Ensuite Second Floor King Ensuite (with cast iron clawfoot bathtub!) Heat, AC, Washer and Dryer, Wifi, full size hairdryers Spa grade shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided Smart TVs Off Street Parking for 1 plus additional on-street parking (free) Blocks to everything and everywhere you want to be!
Just down the street you'll find historic tours, ghost tours, horse drawn carriage rides, Film Industry spots from Dawson's Creek + One Tree Hill + and More, The Battleship, Restaurants, River Walk, Nightlife, and a quick drive to either Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. We loved our stay. The house is so cute, and perfect size for my family of three and our pup (who was so comfortable and felt so welcome). This was an amazing property in an amazing location and I highly recommend.

Thank you so much for leaving this great reviews. It means the world to us that you enjoyed your stay.
This house was perfect for our home away from home while working in Wilmington for a few days. The location was great, allowing us to walk to coffee shops, restaurants and historic downtown. Aaron was great to work with and everything was clearly communicated. The house was so spacious, clean and comfortable. We would love to come back!
Very beautiful home and convenient (walking distance) to Station No. 2 event venue along with a few coffee shops. Nicely updated and would be perfect for a family or two couples to share since the bedrooms are on separate floors. Off street parking is only suitable for smaller cars and SUVs (no way our Suburban would fit) but there was sufficient parking on the street directly in front of the house. I would stay there again.

Thanks for the great review! I’m so happy you enjoyed your stay!!!
Fantastic property that was updated and very clean. Everything we needed on the inside including a fabulous kitchen, relaxing tv area, perfect dining area, large bedrooms with comfortable beds and big modern bathrooms. Great historic location. Very close to the river walk and it only took about 15-16 minutes to walk to several restaurants. Only one tight parking spot on the property, but plenty of street parking. Super property and Aaron, the host, was excellent with communication. We would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful home in the heart of Historic Wilmington. Easy walk to the Riverwalk. 3 or 4 fabulous restaurants with a few blocks. Great communication from the manager.
