'Unforgettable'! LOCATION! 4th FROM OCEANFRONT, OCEAN, SUNSET & SUNRISE VIEWS!

'Unforgettable' beach cottage is a beautifully decorated and updated 4 bedroom 2 bath house. We are located on the desirable west end of the island only four houses back from ocean front! You can see the beach access from our cottage. It is shown in one of our pictures taken from our cottage. It is not so crowded here on the west end. We are not near the crowded pier area where all the people come from town to park and go to the beach. We have just completed our new high rise deck with wonderful views of the ocean, sunset and sunrise. We have also added a gate with a lock on it for safety. We have one of the few cottages that has a paved driveway which is great for the kids feet! We have a large area under cottage to relax in the chairs or for kids to run around. Our cottage has high end furniture, designer bedding and quality mattresses to make sure you wake up feeling great after a good night sleep. The kitchen is fully stocked so that you can prepare quick snacks for the beach or a gourmet meal. There are ceiling fans throughout to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each bedroom has its own TV and DVR and there is also a TV and DVR in the den area. If you prefer to be outside, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise on our screened front porch, complete with rocking chairs and picnic table, or have a cold drink and watch the sunset off the back deck.

Outside we have a large shower and changing area, two picnic tables, paved driveway, a fenced back yard and gas grill.

This beach rental allows you to check in Sunday and depart Sunday. We think this really helps with all the traffic on the highway and it is not so crowed at the grocery stores. It also gives you a day to pack if you work. We hope this will work for you.

Sunset Beach is located on the southernmost barrier island on the North Carolina coastline. It is a peaceful three mile long island with wide powdery white sand beaches that is unspoiled by commercial development. Sunset Beach is widely viewed as one of the cleanest, family oriented beaches on the east coast. Its white sandy beaches are a great place to sunbathe, walk, ride a bike, jog or just sit and relax while watching the boats and the dolphins come and go. Bird Island is also located on the west end of the island. Bird Island is a pristine, undeveloped 1300 acre state preserve that is home to loggerhead turtles and the Purple Sandpiper found only on Bird Island. This end of the beach is very spacious, quiet and peaceful and provides absolutely stunning unobstructed views of the ocean, marsh and the beautiful sunsets for which Sunset is known.

Sunset is centrally located providing easy access to Calabash, 'The Seafood Capital of the World', just two miles away, where you can feast on the local seafood, buy fresh shrimp off of one of the shrimp boats or charter a boat and catch your own dinner. North Myrtle Beach is just 15 miles away, Myrtle Beach 25 miles away and historic Wilmington is approximately 45 miles away. You can catch a world class show in one of the many theaters in Myrtle Beach or you can tour a battleship in Wilmington. For the shopper there are endless opportunities including Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach and two Tanger Outlet centers. If golfing is your thing the area is also considered the 'Golf Capital of the World'. Sea Trail, The Thistle, Lions Paw, Tigers Eye, Panthers Run, Crow Creek, Oyster Bay, The Pearl and Sandpiper are just some of the courses within 15 minutes of Sunset Beach.
