Peaceful rainforest setting just minutes from Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Comfortable bedding and all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Quiet, lush surroundings with cool mountain air and native birdsong. Fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and hassle-free check-in. Daniel was a great host!

Absolutely what we were looking for. The house was quiet and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were perfect. The host Dan was very responsive and very friendly. The only negative was the driveway is all mud and dirt so when it rained (which it does a lot) I was a bit worried my car would get stuck. Otherwise the house itself was perfect for our stay.

Cabin was clean, comfortable, and private. Host was very easy to get ahold of and accommodating for any issues that came up. If you’re staying for an extended amount of time be prepared to go out to do your laundry.Would definitely rent this place again

Perfect secluded location for our stay! Really enjoyed how cool it stays in the evening (no real need for AC) easy to check in, clean and new! Overall excellent choice! Not far from Hilo

What a great place. We were there for an extended stay, and really enjoyed it. The house and the furnishings are all new.Dan, the host, is very friendly and was responsive to any questions we had.The location was perfect. It was quiet and had whatever we needed.

We loved staying here. It is very private, extremely clean and has plenty of room. We had a little problem finding the place in the dark (a problem with Apple Maps), and we were quickly directed by phone until we reached the correct property entrance. The lock on the gate would not open for us and after another call, the host met us quickly in person at the gate to assist with the lock. I had lined up the numbers correctly, but not in the proper horizontal row. We couldn’t ask for more out of our host!

We had a truly unique and very pleasant stay at this property. The house is located in a quiet, remote area that feels peaceful and surrounded by forest, making it perfect for anyone looking to unplug and relax. Although it’s not in a densely populated area, the driving directions were straightforward. The road is paved and easy to drive on, with some ups and downs, and it’s only about a 30-minute drive to Volcanoes National Park. The house itself is very new, clean, and comfortable, with modern furniture, a well-equipped kitchen, and fresh, quality bedding. Reliable Wi-Fi was available, which was definitely necessary and appreciated given the location. Bottled water is needed for drinking and cooking, and the host provides it. Daniel was an excellent host—very responsive and helpful. When we had a small issue with the gate lock at check-in, he took care of it quickly and had it resolved the next day. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this place to others.
