Please empty all trash cans and take the bags to the main bins on the left side of the house.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Overnight guests are welcomed but if they are there for an extended period (more than 2 days) of time they will be a guest fee of $250/guest.

Tenants must comply with noise restrictions, waste management rules, community regulations, building codes, fire regulations, and health standards.

Well behaved dogs allowed, no cats. Please note, there is a separate upstair apartment/ It has its own entrance and has access to the backyard.

Title: An Unfortunate StayMy recent experience at the VRBO rental was regrettably far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by an overwhelming odor of mold and mildew, suggesting significant underlying issues with the property’s maintenance. The atmosphere was far from welcoming and prompted concerns for my health.Further inspection revealed not only the unpleasant scent but also a distressing sight: deceased cockroaches scattered across the floor, raising serious hygiene concerns. As I navigated the property, I noticed the warped floors, which were not only visually unappealing but also posed a safety hazard, with several planks lifting underfoot.Compounding my discomfort was the incessant noise emanating from the unit above. The inhabitants appeared to be engaging in a continuous stomping routine, which disrupted any semblance of peace and quiet I had hoped to enjoy.In light of these numerous issues, I regret to inform potential guests that this rental falls short of acceptable standards. I strongly urge prospective renters to reconsider their options in order to avoid a similarly disappointing experience. It is imperative that the owner addresses these concerns to ensure future guests can enjoy a more pleasant stay.

We take every concern seriously and acted promptly to address the odor, cleanliness, and flooring issues you raised. Our cleaning team inspected after your report and found no mold odor, but we still had the property re-cleaned to ensure it was guest-ready. Regarding the noise from the upstairs unit, we understand how disruptive that was. We’ve since implemented quiet-hour policies to safeguard guest comfort. For the flooring, no prior guests reported issues, but guest safety is our top priority, and repairs were completed the day after your report. As per VRBO’s guidance, we refunded 50% of your stay. We understand you requested a full refund, but unfortunately, VRBO’s policy did not allow it. We regret the disruption you experienced and have reinforced cleaning, pest control, and maintenance protocols to ensure future guests enjoy a more comfortable stay. We hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to provide the welcoming experience we strive for.
