Beautiful home , personal touches inside as you arrive , the pool is absolutely beautiful … the host were very attentive . Pet friendly… comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. Close to grocery stores. Golf cart provided.

Cara and Josh thought of everything. From the backyard pool, fire table bar, lounge areas and fenced in yard to the front porch and every room inside. We also appreciated how quickly you had your handy man come over with golf cart issue — he was prompt and very helpful. Thank you both. We will be back.

We have stayed at many rental homes over the years and this one is definitely our favorite! It is beautiful and immaculate, not a speck of dust or a dog hair was noted. A huge plus was they allowed our dog, which is a must with us. Loved hanging in the living room on the reclining couch while watching TV. So comfortable and inviting. Appreciated the king beds and I have to say, I was blown away by how comfortable that master bed was. I have NEVER stayed in a rental with such a comfortable bed. I might even suggest it’s as comfortable as our new mattress we just bought at home. The house was also stocked better than any place we have stayed. They have thought of everything which was so appreciated. The towels were also very nice quality. The outdoor pool area was beautiful. It was perfect to float around in and just enjoy the peace and tranquility of the entire backyard. Wonderful selection of pool floats to help. We brought beach chairs but my friend chose one of the Tommy Bahama chairs they provided. The quality of everything was top notch. Don’t typically use chairs provided by other rentals due to quality. Beach, restaurants and stores also very close by. So convenient! And lastly, Josh was a most amazing host. They were right on any inquiry like you wouldn’t believe! I would clearly, highly recommend this very special rental home and will return!!

We loved our recent stay at the Silver Palms Cottage. The property was exactly as pictured and described. It was located in the more residential area of Oak Island which was fine with us, we enjoyed the quiet away from the tourists. However, it was a short ride to the beach (10 min). There is an option to rent a golf cart onsite. The home was spotless and comfy with attention to details. From the pet-friendly fenced in backyard area to the special touches in the cottage that you don't find at other rentals. We tend to prepare out meals in and found the cookware to be in perfect condition! 1000% better than other rentals (no chipped Teflon pots/pans). The pool was nice on those days you can't make it to the beach. Beach towels, floats, pool noodles were provided. Important note, dogs are not allowed in the pool, which we didn't mind as our pooches don't like water. The furniture/beds were comfy and the linens high-end cotton. More importantly, the owners were quick to respond to our questions and the check-in process was a breeze. We will be back!
