We stayed at a couple places around Olympic on this trip, and this house was our favorite. It is a beautiful property which is well appointed. It is very close to the park, and at night, the stars are ablaze. We are thankful that the family shared it with us!
The house is beautiful and spacious and was a great fit for our family of four. The area is gorgeous and peaceful. It was a great location for our day trips to the Quinault Rain Forest and Pacific beaches.
It's hard to find good lodging with a kitchen in this part of the world, but this place exceeded expectations. Great kitchen, well stocked, propane grill was fantastic, too.
Dishwasher was a bit finicky, but otherwise, great stay.
Great property and location! Online info needs update: checkout time is 10 am, internet is fast, beds are all queens plus 1 king. One large family room. River was dried up in August but lake Quinalt was amazing.
10 of us stay for one night at the end of a yoga, hiking retreat in the Olympics, and it was a perfect last night of our trip. Quiet location, near the center of Quinault and the Quinault Lodge.
Our stay at Lake Quinault’s #1 Get Away was an unforgettable experience. The idyllic location, comfortable accommodation, and proximity to the stunning Lake Quinault Lodge made it an ideal retreat for nature enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility. If you’re looking for a serene escape surrounded by natural beauty, this getaway is an absolute gem that will leave you with cherished memories for years to come.
We had a fantastic stay - the house is very spacious and clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The kitchen was well stocked with a large cooker and fridge freezer, and we loved the open plan dining and living room areas. The bedrooms were well sized with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were well kitted out, and it was great to have both a shower cubicle and bath tub, especially with having young children. It was a bonus to have use of the washing machine and tumble dryer facilities too!The outdoor space was lovely - we enjoyed making use of the barbeque and fire pit and felt very fortunate to be in such beautiful surroundings with an incredible view.Kellie was very helpful and a very responsive host. She very kindly gave us tips on exploring the local area as well. The location is great, with a river walk nearby, and it is only a short drive to explore Lake Quinault and do other walks in the area. All in all a wonderful stay - would definitely recommend!
A great family retreat house with peaceful settings with fully loaded conveniences
This spacious and clean house provides many amenities and conveniences making our stay very homy and comfortable. The surrounding of the house is very quiet and peaceful. Kellie, the owner of this house, was very friendly and responsive to all our questions and requests, making this stay even more pleasant. Our family will definitely come back here in the future.
House has a nice layout. Beds comfortable. Kitchen has all the necessary cooking items, minus cookie sheets (searched but couldn't find them). We had Elk in the yard several mornings, very cool. Down the road is a nice waterfall and Mossquatch. Would stay again! Thanks
Such a beautiful home with a spectacular view. Everything was well stocked. Amazing kitchen. Large bedrooms. Great laundry room. Everything we needed and more. Loved it!!!
Well located for family gathering for hikingf and lake front water activities
a very well stocked kitchen with good sleeping provisions for three couples a toddler an infant and two teens (but not for 4 couples) . It is perfectly located for hikes around the Quinault and vicinity and swimming or boating on the lake nearby. Very clean well located home for a family gathering. We also enjoyed picking juicy plump blackberries along the property's edge to make the yummiest blackberry crisp and down the road to purchase fresh chicken and duck eggs.
My family rented this amazing place to have quality time together and to ring in the New Year. Kellie was a great host and the house was ready and was as advertised. The rambler was spacious, clean, well-stocked & had many amenities. The property is massive and had plenty of room for our pups to run around in. Having a couple of bald eagles fly around was very cool as well. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back again!
This home and space worked very well for our large family to gather from Vermont and Montana.
We hiked, went swimming, explored the area and went to the coast.
The distance for groceries and supplies is a bit far if you need quantity. But with some planning it worked out fine.
