This is a very special cabin (by famed architect Ostrow). It is perfect for families, several couples and honeymooners . We do everything to help make your vacation perfect so that you want to come back and stay with us again.

Located just a short walk from the Stagecoach Heavenly Ski Lift (5 min walk) and the world famous Rim Trail (best mountain biking and hiking in the area!) and 6 minutes from the casinos and center of Lake Tahoe Village. There is a shuttle stop right in front of the home so no need to drive anywhere. Either walk to the lift and the trails or take a shuttle to the casinos. It is the Perfect location....close to the action but lots of privacy and quiet.

** Local Tip: Our condo is located on the less crowed side of Heavenly...no long lines or crowds to deal with.

** Located just a few miles from casinos, shops, restaurants, etc.

** Just a few blocks walk to the popular Fox and Hound Restaurant which serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner.

** Because of the incredible views from this location (and it being Tahoe), there are a lot of stairs up to this residence--therefore, I would not recommend this property for anyone that needs wheel chair access or are physically challenged or not fit.

You are renting directly from the owners so you will get top service and attention. We will do our best to provide you with every detail to make your vacation the best that it can be. We can assure you that you will not be disappointed! =)

Lovely Ski House, Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was a short five minute walk to the lift. It was clean and nicely furnished. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay again on our next ski vacation in this area.

Bachelorette Weekend

Booked this stay for my friend's bachelorette weekend and we had the best time. Jane was supper responsive and gave us some recommendations. The house is located in a great area if you want to go hiking, to the beach, or go downtown for dinner. Would recommend!

Stayed for 2 nights. House is great. Rooms are appropriate. Have a hot tub in the bathroom within the house. Balcony with a view and great living room to spend time with your friends. Beds are softer (I prefer firmer for myself). Loved the overall stay.

Loved this place!

Spent three days at Lake Tahoe and this was a lovely, cozy spot. There are three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. Fully-equipped kitchen is so nice in a rental. The host, Jane, was helpful whenever needed. We'll be back!

Labor Day Weekend Stay

Was in Tahoe over Labor Day for a wedding. This Vrbo was exactly what we were looking for as it was close to the wedding venue. June was great and very response to any questions we had.

Ski Vacation

It was so convenient to be able to walk to the Stagecoach Lift. This allowed for different group members to be free to come and go on their own. All the rooms were cozy and the kitchen was nice for preparing meals.

Suits three couples nicely

Darling condo that works quite well for three couples. Homeowner incredibly responsive. We rented this space in summer- lovely view of valley, just five miles from the busyness of south lake.

Jane, our host, is very responsive and helpful. So important, I think. We loved the location and the cleanliness of the condo. It was comfortable and had plenty of room for the four of us. Three nice size bedrooms with queen beds. Two down and one on the main floor with the kitchen and family room with dinner table. The kitchen was small for more than one really, but we managed fine. More was provided than we thought. A Mr. Coffee maker, Microwave and blender along with the normal fridge and stove. There was enough coffee to start off with and sugar or sweetener and coffeemate. We each had a day in the most comfortable swivel chair and the couch was just as comfortable. We like the area we were in. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises with our coffee from the deck off the livingroom. Each day I walked up and down the mountain and got lovely pictures of the lake from the other side of the mountain. The stairs up to the condo were a lot as we were told. It gave us a nice workout! My sister and I ate at breakfast at the Fox and Hound just a half mile down the road. It was delicious. I wish we had kept an evening open for dinner.

Needs Attention

The place looks to have been very nice at one time, however, needs attention. Stained mattresses and carpets, cob webs, cracked sink and filthy vents. Check in process was great and property manager very responsive.

Beautiful home and great location!

Home was stunning and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck! Nothing like soaking and star gazing in the Tahoe wilderness. Host was great and provided everything we needed. I appreciated the timeliness of responding to my questions and the communication was great. My only complaint is that I could not figure out the AC. The place got really hot but with some open windows and fans running, it was bearable. Overall great place! I would highly recommend!

Good place to stay

It happened to be a hot week and there was no AC. But most places in the mountain don't have AC. There were a few maintenance issues, electrical plugs not secured, screens missing, slider didn't lock. The place was clean. Just needs a little TLC.

Perfect Christmas Cabin

My family has been trying to plan a white Christmas in the mountains for several years now. This cabin worked out perfectly! Great location, walking distance to Heavenly Resort and ski lift. There are 2 restaurants and a general store within walking distance as well. Next to the general store, there is a perfect hill for sledding. There is a shuttle bus stop across the street from the cabin that is free and is only a 15-minute bus ride into South Lake Tahoe for all kinds of activities. The cabin is very cozy. The view from the patio decks across the valley is absolutely amazing. The indoor spa is just as spectacular as the pictures make it look; a perfect way to unwind after playing in the snow all day. The host, Jane, was awesome; very responsive and helpful on the VRBO app with all of our questions. The previous guests broke the coffee pot, and she ensured a new one was delivered the day of our arrival. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jane!

Beautiful Home and nice owner

My family stayed here in August. It was a beautiful condo, it's very nice and cozy. The home is on a beautiful setting, if you love views, it's got a great view of the other side of the Sierra Nevada mountains on the way there and out. We stayed here around one of the hotter weeks in the summer time. It was quite hot inside the condo, but Jane is very nice. She was very quick to respond to all our concerns. I know she mentioned "lots of stairs" to the condo. There are lots of stairs.

HIGHLY recommended this home ! It was my first time ever in Tahoe & I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The owner is extremely attentive , responds immediately , provides you with excellent information in regards to the home and what is near by & suggestions on things to do which is helpful when it's your first time visiting Tahoe The house is very welcoming , supplied with everything ! All up to date appliance , has a beautiful view from the balcony where you can take a late night dip in the jacuzzi and enjoy the view. Location is great everything is near by , no more then a 10-15 Minute drive to everything This is one of the best Homes that I have rented and loved I would diffidently stay here again if it be another summer trip or even a winter trip.

The condo was warm, comfortable, inviting.

We enjoyed the proximity to Stagecoach Lodge & lift. The condo was spacious w/the 3 rooms, comfortable beds. Nice big laundry room w/space to dry out skiing clothes before next day. Beautiful wood throughout the house. New spa, on the deck, was just installed before we got there, so would be ready for next guests. But we enjoyed the soaking tub w/jets downstairs after a day out in the cold. Would b nice to have one more chair in living room. Has a nice dining table w/room for all. Jane was sure to check in before the stay to make sure all our questions were addressed and was responsive to texts during our time there.

Nice condo for the winter!

My family of four stayed for a few days in this condo during the month of July. It was a beautiful condo, well appointed and stocked. The views were beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Nice towels and linen. However, it was HOT in this condo and the air conditioning did not work. There were two portable fans and some ceiling fans but that was not comfortable enough to sleep well. The decks need chairs and the deck wood and painting need replaced. Finally, I don't know if I missed it in the description, but there are a lot of stairs leading up to the condo. My husband has some health issues which made this very difficult.

Cozy and clean condo in South Lake Tahoe

A friend and I enjoyed our stay here very much!! We arrived after some snow storms so it was a challenge getting up the stairs. They were cleared off just enough for us to get up them with our luggage. Parking is convenient right in front. The condo itself was inviting and cozy, especially the living area and gas fireplace. However, the downstairs fireplace was not working and there were no instructions on how to use it. One thermostat controls all levels of the condo and the downstairs is colder than upstairs. Our only issue we had was the upstairs shower would not deliver hot water for more than a couple minutes and this is even when no hot water was previously used. Not sure if it depends on the time of day when the hot water may work. Besides a few light bulbs being out and we couldn't get the washer to work, everything else was great! Anytime we reached out to the owner, we got a quick response. The area is perfect just tucked away about 13 minutes from Heavenly mountain where we went skiing.

Short Tahoe Stay

Quaint rustic condo close to South Tahoe but up in the mountains and away from the in town madness. We came for a concert at Caesars outdoor amphitheater and this was perfect for us. There are steps but they are not steep.

We have been married for 28 years and came to Tahoe for our 1 year anniversary and fell in love with the place! Finally, 19 years later we bought our 'Sunrise Pines'. We love the outdoor activities Lake Tahoe offers...especially Biking, skiing, kayaking and hiking.

Why they chose this property

We looked at So Many properties when buying. We picked this property because it has everything....location, ski in/out, privacy and views. When we were shopping for a place, so many places in Tahoe looked great in pictures but were horrible and smelly in person. This condo had great potential and now that we remodeled it...it is perfect!

What makes this property unique

Location, Views, large size for condo (most are only 600-800 sq feet). Did I mention location and views? Walk to chairlift!
