If sun, surf, and tranquility are what you seek, look no further than this fantastic vacation rental along the scenic North Carolina coast. This lovely home boasts a private hot tub, a covered patio picnic area, and the Atlantic Ocean within walking distance.

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a beachy vibe throughout the well-appointed living area. This brand-new construction home boasts contemporary decor, upscale furnishings, and natural light, radiating comfort from every corner. Relax and make yourself at home by resting on the plush furniture, streaming a movie marathon on the large TV, or serving brunch on the balcony or in the picnic area. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the open-concept kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample cupboard room, and a formal dining table.

Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms ensure everyone receives a wonderful night's rest from the day's activities. The main bedroom boasts a lovely en suite bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower. Kids will love hosting sleepovers in the bunk room, with a nearby lounge area with a fridge for late-night snacks.

Overall very nice experience. Its a little far out from some shops and busy traffic which was fine by us we just traveled alot. The house was cleaned and up-to-date. They provided with enough linens. Only wish we had a couple more blankets for the elders. The hottub was amazing everyone enjoyed it. I liked how most bedrooms were upstairs and down stairs was easier to assess elders.The only really complaint is the beach was further than I really expected. The Dunes where really high and it was hard for my elderly father and mother in law to have easy access. We also rented a cart to hall our kids stuff and chairs back and forth and it was hard to get to go in sand but up hill made it harder.We would definitely rent again.

Perfect summer break!

This property had ample room for our family of 5! We loved how close we were to the beach and grocery store/restaurants The walk was very doable with our 3 kiddos ranging in age from 5-9.It was so fun exploring all of the islands in the area! The beach was not crowded which made it feel like we had our own private little slice of paradise!

Great vacation house

We loved how close the beach is to this house! And the outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the sand before going back inside. The house comfortably accommodated all 6 of us and we all had a lot of privacy.

Spacious house and convenient location.

We had 6 people and two dogs, but never felt like we were on top of each other. We were close to the food lion and many local restaurants and a very easy 2 min walk up the sand dune to the beach, which was never crowded!

The house was beautiful. The downfall was that it was not properly cleaned before our arrival. A previous guest had a long haired animal. There were clumps of black animal hair, and dead flies found on the floor throughout the house & even in the exterior area by the hot tub & table/grill area. The linens in the bunk bedroom had the black animal hair all over them. The comforters were removed in both of the Queen size bedrooms & we were only given a blanket in both of those rooms. (Hopefully the sheets & blankets were clean b/c we slept on them). I spent a decent amount of time cleaning up the house so that my family felt comfortable in the home. Our family was upset about staying in a dirty house & rightfully so. I reported the problem immediately via the automated system that Hatteras Realty sent (they send a robocall after check in to ensure the customer is satisfied). I heard nothing back when I reported the issue on the robocall. I called the next day when the office was open again (check in was late afternoon & we did not discover the extent of the issues until after business hours). I verbally reported the issues to the folks in the Hatteras Realty office. Their response was slow, but they did eventually bring over replacement linens for the bunk room only. I called back prior to the linens arriving & asked to speak to the property manager (Tony). He offered me a 100 credit toward our stay. This amount was minimal based on the work I put in to clean up.

New home in Avon

Perfect smaller home with two levels. Not a lot of extras but perfect for two couples with kids that plan on doing a lot of outdoor activities around the island. Conveniently located in Avon and still has that new house smell! Definitely recommend!

For future guests:The house does have a Keurig, but no crockpot or skillet. I was told the house has a normal coffee pot, but it has both. I have rented many oceanfront houses, and this was the first that didn't provide any chairs or beach towels. When traveling 17 hours to get there, no one wants to pack beach towels or chairs when you have 5 kids. This was definitely a bummer. The house does have a very nice wagon that works well in the sand to bring your items over the dune. The house is a short walk, but if you have little kids, keep in mind it is a tough walk over a dune. The beds are extremely firm, which caused my daughters' shoulders to hurt. The bunk beds are very cheap, and if someone sleeps on the top, it creaks every time they move, waking up the person on the bottom. I understand there are flies in NC, but why not have a trap somewhere instead of coming into the house with lots of dead flies on the floor? The area under the house had so much sand on the table and chairs, and all over the cement. I wished there was a broom to clean the sand or blow the sand before customers come. Also, smoke detectors went off right as we were trying to sleep. Thankfully, we found a flashlight, took the batteries out, changed the smoke detector, and it stopped, but there were no extra batteries or even a fly swatter. Also, don't forget extra tabs for the dishwasher, as you are given 2, and also laundry detergent. The 5:00 check-in is definitely a hindrance.
