Excellent Home Excellent Service!

Wonderful 3 bedroom home with pool and spa. We were here to attend a conference at Bethel and the location was ideal. Beds are super comfy and home is well cared for. Best part was no additional clean up required. Really appreciated the great communication with the owners. I will use again.

Comfort and elegance all wrapped in one.

We enjoyed our time at this truly cozy home. The updates along with the lighting, artwork and furnishings make this home charming and welcoming. One recommendation we have is to add a griddle to the kitchen appliances. One minor repair recommendation would the fan in the back bedroom was noisy. The host were awesome to work with and check-in was easy. The pictures really don't do it justice. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again!!!

unassuming surprise!

On the outside, this is an unassuming house in an unassuming neighborhood. BUT, open the door, and it is amazing! The mid-century modern design is spot on. The design details are meticulous. The kitchen, is gorgeous with very high-end appliances. The yard includes a beautiful pool with a waterfall and a hot tub. Sadly, it was a little too cold for these Floridians to enjoy the pool, but did enjoy the hot tub. There were only 2 of us, but the house could comfortably accommodate 6 adults. I could imagine some really nice dinner parties! Sophia was great to deal with. We actually came to Redding just to stay in this house, but we found it to be a good base for exploring the area. We highly recommend this slice of history if visiting the Redding area.

Wedding weekend

We absolutely loved the property and the owners were incredible to work with. The beds were comfortable, the decorations modern, and the little details were appreciated. I forgot my hairdryer and was panicking before the wedding we went to, and Sophia actually brought one right over! We absolutely recommend this property.

Beautiful Home, great location

Sophia was wonderful to work with, she was very attentive to the questions I had. The home is beautiful and clean, her attention to detail along with the furnishings and light fixtures really make this home something special. The pool and hot tub are a most wonderful addition to the home. We had a fabulous time there and were very comfortable (comfy beds!) We will definitely be saving this home as a future place to come stay and play! I only wish there were more large bowls for salads, etc. and more cups. Thank you Sean and Sophia for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Best place to stay in Redding Ca

I think the word is out that this is the best place to stay in Redding. The house is beautiful and in a quiet location close to everything. Fascinating light fixtures, nice art work, great pool area. Very comfortable and relaxing.

Great house for 3 couples

Very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and thoughtful. The tv remote didn’t seem to work, but we found batteries in the same place you would have had them in a well-appointed home. Good instructions for using the pool and not having to clean anything made for a relaxing stay. It was easy to keep everything neat and in its place. Over all a wonderful stay. Owners very much available and easy to communicate even though the VRBO interface was not great.

GREAT STAY, GREAT OWNERS

This stay has far surpassed our expectations. Sean and Sophie are not only accessible at all times, they are kind and interpersonal. Your needs and questions are in their continued interest. They are thorough in their rental accommodations as well. It's so clean and so nicely decorated, it's very warming. Our stay was so welcoming by Sean and Sophie, we just had an automatic respect for the property and the privilege of having the opportunity to stay here. It's so peaceful and the location is easy to find.. If you're ever in this area David and Debbie (us) HIGHLY recommend. We know this will always be a go-to for us. Hope you have a chance to enjoy as much as we did. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful home!

Such a comfortable, warm, welcoming home. Many amenities supplied, even coffee, eggs and other food. The owners very responsive but very respectful of your privacy. Beautifully decorated. I spent almost 2 weeks there and enjoyed it very much. Would love to be there in hot weather to enjoy the beautiful pool.

Very comfortable and perfectly located. If you were traveling to Reading to attend a Bethel event then this house is a must. It is well appointed and less than 2 miles from Bethel and about 4 miles from civic auditorium where many Bethel events are held. The owners were easy to work with and the house was just as described on the VBRO website.

We absolutely loved every aspect of this beautifully updated house! It worked perfectly for our family. It gave everyone their own space and was nice and open for when additional family visited for Thanksgiving. We loved the pool and hot tub! The amenities are all there. It was so convenient to have a washer and dryer available and they had more perks we discovered during our stay. The owners were very responsive to questions we had (even during a holiday week). This was an affordable and relaxing retreat...we enjoyed every minute. We will certainly be back when we return to visit family again!

Beautifully decorated and very immaculate home with great backyard with pool and hot tub.

We used the home for our family’s Christmas celebration. Our grown son and daughter came from LA and Chicago to share the week with us. We utilized the kitchen every night and loved the refrigerator. The living room was cozy with an automatic gas fireplace and large smart TV with DISH satellite. The beds were large in all 3 bedrooms and very comfortable! The master bath was small with little privacy. The street was a dead end and therefore very quiet. The week turned out just like we planned. Our other married son, his wife and 3 month daughter were able to join us during the day. Thank you so much for letting us share your home in a perfect location for us!

Great place and nice host

We stayed at this property for three nights. We loved this place, particularly the pool and hot tub. Of course, you cannot forget the premium TV channel (e.g., Netflix; apple TV). A great addition is the hosts. They are very responsive and helpful. If it was not wild fire, I would stay longer.

Gorgeous mid-century modern design home to meet all your needs

We were so impressed with Sean and Sophia's gorgeous home. It was very clean and smelled amazing. They put a lot of love and personal touches into the space and provided everything you could need for your stay. The open layout was perfect for visiting,the beds were like sleeping on clouds and the pool and hot tub were such a bonus. Sean and Sophia were very prompt at returning any questions and were so gracious to work with us to keep our reservation after the fire. We absolutely enjoyed staying in their beautiful home and look forward to visiting again.

Carr Fire

We have stayed in many VRBO's while on vacation; we never thought we would need to stay in one in our home town. We were evacuated during the Carr Fire and the closest hotel vacancy was Willows. After three days under evacuation, we were able to locate this VRBO. The owners are lovely! As soon as we arrived, Sophia gave my family a huge hug! The house is well maintained and spotless. The mid-century modern design is flawless. As soon as I entered, i could smell how clean the property was. It was nice having the cleanliness and comfort of home. The owners were very responsive to any questions. Also, the towels and bedding were very luxurious. This home environment brought our family calm and security during a very traumatic time in our community. Thanks for opening up your house to us!
