I really enjoyed my stay! Everything was exceptionally clean, and the apartment was bright, airy, and very comfortable. I stayed here with my friend while she was visiting from Australia, and it was the perfect place for us. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby bus stops and train stations. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily stay again!
Our whole experience was excellent. On two occasions we needed assistance from the host and he was very helpful and accommodating. It was overall just a lovely experience and if we come back to Chicago, we would be happy to have the same place with the very same amenities. A couple of suggestions: we could’ve made use of a pair of scissors and could not find any and a couple of notepads and pens would’ve helped us when we needed to make notes for things that didn’t necessarily have to be in our phones. Definitely recommend.
The entire experience was horrible. I was not given check in information prior to my arrival in Chicago. I reached out to the host, a management company, and was provided check in information that was incorrect. This resulted in me standing outside the apartment complex for 45 minutes in the rain. My suitcase and work bag with my laptop were soaked, as was I after a long day of travel. The apartment was sub-par. The couch was very uncomfortable and the living room rug was old and dirty. If those were the only problems, I likely would have rated the property higher. However, the bathroom was in poor condition. The toilet seat was so loose it was falling off. The towel bar completely fell out of the wall as soon as it was touched. It was clearly not anchored and could not have been a new problem. I contacted the "host" and was told they were sorry but was offered no aid or compensation. Finally, the last 24 hours of my stay the wifi was out. The management company claimed a local outage, however the wifi company reported no outages in that area. I had to go to a coffee shop to work, as I require wifi for my job. I was unable to watch tv that evening or sign out of my streaming service. I asked the host for a partial refund and was ignored. I reached out again and was denied. I would never stay here again or any associated property.
