This is a gem of a place, right in the heart of downtown Frederick. The host was very responsive and flexible. It had tons of room for gathering and privacy. We would love to stay here again.

This house was charming, and the location cannot be beat!! So much around in a short walk! We were hosting a baby shower down the street in downtown Frederick, and we were able to walk there in just a few minutes. Well-stocked kitchen and rooms and bathrooms, etc. were crystal clean. The backyard little patio was perfect for outdoor gathering as well.We did have fun in the speakeasy :) And had a ball looking at all of the antiques and quaint decor and vintage pieces in the house. The layout was perfect for our gathering after the shower.Note: we did not use the WiFi and to what we could see, there were no TVs i the house. Perfect for us, but may just want to be aware of that. Would highly recommend!!

I chose downtown Frederick because it’s where I wanted to live myself. I was drawn to its walkability, historic character, and the way daily life here naturally centers around local shops, restaurants, outdoor entertainment, and gathering places.

I lived in this home for several years before turning it into a short-term rental, which gave me time to understand the neighborhood and shape the space around how people actually use it. The location makes it easy to enjoy downtown without planning — you can simply step outside and be part of it.
