Fantastic stay for our family of 5! Easy walking and close to the beach and all the OB classics. The host was kind enough to send maintenance to turn the heater off while we were there. Great place!

The location of the property was great. We could walk to coffee, breakfast, drinks, dinner, and the beach. We visited on an ungodly hot weekend and the two fans provided plus ceiling fans were not enough to cool the place down at night. But again it was unseasonably hot. The water pressure in the shower was great and beds were comfortable.

Great access to the beach and pier. Beware, however, the plane moratorium ends at 6:30 am. They're noisy : )

Being close to the airport does mean there can occasionally be outdoor aircraft noise once flight restrictions are lifted in the morning, which unfortunately is outside of our control. Perfect place close to Everything we needed . The unit was clean and ready for us . Parking was tight ! Couldn't find where we toss our trash... This unit is upstairs FYI. a little hard for older people. Over all this was EXCELLENT!

Great location

This is on the same road as the pier- very short distance! Great location! Walk to the shops and dine close by! Very friendly customer service. We would easily stay there again!

Property was neat, tidy, and secure. Great location with close walk to restaurants and entertainment. Bed in guest bedroom broke just by sitting on it. Home seems to have electrical problem as lights would regularly flicker. No air conditioning and home gets hot. Windows in bedrooms do not operate well. Parking is very tight. Was not able to get into my car one morning because the cars on either side of me were both parked too close. Had to ask a friend to back out car. If you drive a full size vehicle beware.

Ocean Beach Stay

So the apartment itself was clean and cute. There are a 1/2 dozen or so units. There courtyard space is for all the units but it was well kept and Quiet while we were there. The whole complex is gated so you feel safe. The distance to the pier and Beach is less than 100 yards. The downside is the neighborhood itself. There’s a lot of homelessness in and around this apartment, pier, beach and town. The pier itself is disgusting. It seems like there’s no effort to clean it at all. If the apartment was in a different location I would stay there again but I was not impressed with Ocean Beach. Lastly, the flight pattern for the San Diego airport goes right over the pier. You hear planes takeoff all day and they start at 6:30 AM. I would stay in Mission Beach next time.
