This interior designers cozy renovated Spanish home was built in 1923.the house has 2 bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms, dining and living room, a great kitchen with breakfast bar, hardwood floors and tiles throughout (1700 sq. feet / 520 sq meters). This home is kept home very clean and uncluttered. The decor is eclectic with treasures, art and furniture that the owner collected while traveling all over the world. The house is not suitable for young children. Unfortunately, I can't take bookings, nor visitors with children under the age of 12. I also do not allow pets.

The spa-like garden and covered patio is private for guests with sun loungers and an outside a shared garden and dinning area that can be heated at night. The heated cabana style patio is furnished with luxurious Restoration Hardware furniture and succulent potted plants. All areas of the house and garden are well lit during the night.

High speed Wi-Fi all around the house, 42-inch high-definition TV with 800 cable TV channels. Brand new Washer and dryer, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, state-of-the-art Viking range with oven. There is coffee machine, which I supply the coffee and tea in the kitchen and the drinking water is filtered. Microwave.

The MASTER BEDROOM with en suite bathroom is decorated with art, rugs, books. CAL king bed with lush linens. Double-glazed French doors open to the garden and patio.

The 2nd BEDROOM with en suite bathroom with bathtub, is decorated with vintage accessories and framed 1970's prints. Queen size Tempurpedic bed with lush cotton sheets.

Both rooms have blackout roller blinds and curtains, iron & board, hairdryer, and extra blankets. Plenty of fresh towels, all laundered with hypoallergenic eco-friendly detergent. I provide basic toiletries like hand-soap, toilet paper and facial tissues. All you have to do is pack your suitcase!

The owner maintains the house and live and work in the guesthouse in the back of the property which is separate from the main house.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS SAFE.I provide a FREE PARKING and Tesla charger.
Public buses, going in all directions are within a 1 minute walk. The bus stop to the beach in Santa Monica is a 2 min walk. Ubers arrive very promptly when ordered. Above all, I would like you to have a relaxed and inspiring visit at my little oasis in the City of Angels where good things happen!

A Wonderful Oasis in West Hollywood

We loved staying here. Less than a block off Melrose Ave on a quiet street. Lots of restaurants nearby. The house is beautifully decorated with a warm vibe. Bedrooms and baths are large. Wow!

I rarely write reviews. However, this property is too special not to. The house is beautiful and the interior design is exceptional. However, the best part of the house is the back yard and the patio. We spent countless hours hanging out there, sipping our wine, and enjoying the weather. The backyard is really an oasis in the middle of Hollywood. The location is superb and we were close to everything. I highly recommend this property.

A lovely, enjoyable stay!

Our family of four rented this beautiful home for a week in April. The house is impeccably decorated, the yard was delightful, and the location was perfect for us. We were able to walk to a grocery store, and the drive to Universal Studios, Griffith Park, the zoo, and the Walk of Fame was less than 30 minutes. Paramount was only 5 minutes away. Disneyland, about an hour. We had no problems with parking or anything related to the home. Construction noise very early in the morning bothered us only once or twice, and the owner was very accessible and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. A 5 star stay!

A beautiful retreat

Our family of 4 spent 2 nights at Adriana's home. We all agreed that we would have loved more time there. The location was perfect for sightseeing around the Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. When we came in from sightseeing, we all enjoyed the inviting, relaxing atmosphere. The house itself is wonderfully decorated and also well-equipped with anything you might need. Aside from a variety of toiletries, there was even laundry soap and a sewing kit, which we used. One of my teens was pleasantly surprised by the guitar in the living room and he enjoyed getting to play it. We cooked both breakfasts and dinners at the house and found everything we needed for preparing meals. There was even a nice selection of spices. There is a Target store with groceries and another grocery store very close by, which made shopping for meals convenient. The backyard is magazine perfect, beautifully decorated with a good selection of comfortable seating. We ate dinner outside one evening at the large table and really enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful atmosphere. Even though it was a little chilly out, the heaters outside made it comfortable. Our boys also enjoyed the ping pong table in the yard. I also have to mention that the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. We found the house to be very clean and stocked with good quality items, such as linens and towels. I know I keep using the word beautiful, but this house truly is beautiful, down to the smallest details. Adriana was very friendly and helpful with any questions about the area. We felt quite at home there and I would not hesitate to rent it again.

Oase mitten in LA

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Gegend und doch zentral gelegen. Gute Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen und auch die Geschäfte um die Melrose Ave. Rodeo Drive sind mit dem Auto in 15-20 Min, zu erreichen oder mit Uber für ca. 7-8 $. Adriana ist eine super netter Gastgeberin und hat sehr viele tolle Tipps parat. Unseren nächsten LA Aufenthalt werden wir bestimmt wieder dort verbringen. Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll entrichtet und es fehlt wirklich nichts. Wenn man in dem tollen Garten sitzt, glaubt man nicht, dass man mitten in LA ist.

An Oasis Indeed

We rented Adriana's lovely home over the Christmas holiday. She was very welcoming (there were lots of personal touches, such as our names on the doorbell in front of the house and a movie marquee in the backyard welcoming each of the people in our party), and has thoughtfully anticipated her guests' needs: fully stocked kitchen, spare toiletries, extra linens, cleaning products, etc. The star, however, is the house. It manages to be both beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The photos on the website don't do it justice; while they ably capture the individual spaces, they don't offer a full sense of the easy flow from space to space. That flow is perhaps the home's greatest asset; one can move fluidly from kitchen to back patio to crisp greensward lit by string lights. The master bedroom opens onto the the lawn as well. The surrounding neighborhood is dotted with classic old Hollywood homes, like this one, and there is a vast array of nearby shopping and restaurant possibilities. We loved our stay and cannot recommend Adriana's tasteful home highly enough.

This is a tastefully decorated home that would help you relax and enjoy your vacation. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The backyard deck area was as beautiful & relaxing as the inside of the home. A large kitchen with everything you need. We only made breakfast one day but all the amenities were there had we been inclined to do more dining at home. The owner, Adriana was very responsive from the moment we booked the home. If you love a lot of natural light then you will have it in this home. So much room for a family of four to relax in. I definitely would recommend this home !!!

When I moved to LA 9 years ago, I looked at 200 homes before I bought this house. This house is so special. The flow and layout, location and possibilities are endless.

This home is quiet and serene, truly an escape from the hustle and bustle of Melrose Avenue. Melrose offers amazing shopping and dining options, but if you choose to cook at home, this home has a fully equipped kitchen with in and outside dining tables. During the day, you may want to lounge on the private patio listening to the rustle of the palm trees surrounding this house.

What makes this property unique

I am always there to help with anything you may need or questions you may have.

I teach basic fashion jewelry classes in my loft office at the back of the house. I respect my guests and love hosting, but know when to leave you in peace to enjoy your privacy. I also speak English, Dutch, German, and kitchen French.
