We had a group of 8 adults and a dog for about 5 days. The house has a great layout and comfortable accommodations. Overall a very nice house, yard and dock with a gorgeous view from the back screened-in porch. The main issue was controlling the AC level upstairs: There are two smart home zones (upstairs and downstairs), but in between the kitchen and hallway is a very old fridge that puts out an insane amount of heat. So we had to keep the door to the kitchen and the door to the basement closed at all times so it stayed cool upstairs. Also for the amount of people and days we were there, there was very minimal paper towels and toilet paper. Only two kitchen towels were provided and no towels for the hot tub, so we had to do laundry at one point.

Weekend Trip

The place was great! Kitchen and bathrooms all seem recently upgraded. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking needs. Bedrooms were all very comfortable and outdoor area was great!

Great Lake Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this property. They had everything we needed and then some. It was super comfortable and fit 12 people without feeling too crowded. The hot tub and paddle boat were nice extras that got a ton of use. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful vacation home!

This property worked well for our large family to get together for a long weekend. There was plenty of space and lots of activities inside and out. We all really enjoyed the use of the paddle boat and canoe. The screened in back deck is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Loved this place and we will stay here again!

This place has breathtaking views of the lake while also having privacy. The house is amazing with a screened in porch to watch the sunrise or sunset. It has a huge yard, deck with lounge area & a large dock. The house was clean, well kept & furnished beautifully. Looking forward to staying again!

A Happy Place for Our Pack

We spent a wonderful week here with our dogs. The pups couldn't get enough of the swimming, and we enjoyed long comfortable days on the screened-in porch. There's tons of room for everyone, TVs everywhere, including a great lounge area in the basement with a wraparound sofa. Internet was solid and cell reception was good, too. Come to work, relax, swim, and play.

Base Camp D

Base Camp D was the perfect gathering for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was perfectly equipped to handle our family meals. The kids loved the downstairs area, kept them busy the entire time. The screened in porch was a favorite thanks to the warm weather. Family already asking when we can rent again.

This is a fantastic property. Newly updated house at a great location. We had a couple minor issues and the management company was very responsive, including sending out a crew to address a small maintenance issue that I was almost reluctant to even mention. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

OMG this place!!

The house is nestled up a cove with egrets on the far shore. Friendly heron visiting every am. The house is comfortable. Large enough to spread out. 5 real bedrooms.. nice kitchen and a porch I never wanted to leave. Water is wonderful and so many birds!we had a wonderful time. The Vacasa people were very responsive. Can’t give this enough stars. We had a blast. If you want laid back this is your roll!

Perfect relaxing long weekend

The house is beautiful. Our family of five had more than enough room. Kids loved the basketball hoop. Screened in porch is perfect at any point in the day to relax- as is the dock! Too cold to enjoy the water, but plenty of space to watch March madness and play games together inside. We also loved the Lake Anna Taphouse and ice cream next to it! We would definitely rent again.

Great house and location

This house was really nice. It was peaceful and had the best view. The basement playroom and hang out areas were great for all the teens. We loved using the canoe and paddle boat. We did only have one issue on the first day- the outlets downstairs didn’t work, and since we couldn’t get in garage we had to have the rental company come out and trip the breaker, which they did the next day. Definitely will stay here again.

Complete Relaxation

Well appointed lake house, inside and out. Loved starting the morning with coffee from the iconic mugs on the deck or in the sunroom. Plenty of room for everyone including dogs to hang out, play or take naps. Spent most of our time on the dock, paddle boarding, canoeing or fishing. Grilled every night ending the day with ice cream and games. Plan to come back again!

Room for Fun in the Sun

Great location! Stylish, comfortable & made for fun in the sun. A private dock for swimming, kayaking or docking the boat. Comfortable beds & multiple living areas. The deck and covered porch allowed us to hang at the house when the kids were napping -- but the wide water view meant we never missed out. There were lots of little touches that made us feel at home, from dog bowls, to coffee pods, to extra dishwasher pods. This home was the perfect location for a great family weekend.

Thankful

Base Camp D was once again the perfect gathering place for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The kids took over the basement (and hot tub) while the adults visited upstairs. Sitting on the porch next to the heater was perfect for reading, meditating, and intimate conversations. Our only glitch was the breaker throwing twice but maintenance came right away. Wonderful place!

Beautiful home in an excellent location.

The house is beautiful, and its location is perfect. The Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak in some areas of the house, but overall, it was a great vacation home on the lake. The only thing that disappointed us was that we would love to rent it again next year, but now they only allow seven-day rentals, due to our work schedules we can only stay for four days. We asked if they could make an exception since we are returning guests and it is a year away, but they said there are no exceptions.

Hidden. Private. Nothing around. Like camping on a mountain lake with no mountains around. In the woods. Hreat hoise. Recently remodeled. All new appliances. Probably a 1980s house. Cool deck. Fun gameroom. Really easy lake access. Going back for sure.

Amazing

This home was absolutely beautiful! There was enough space for everyone. The. Lake was calm and comforting. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!! The only issue was the beds. They were extremely hard. Please update the beds. We all woke up everyday with our body in pains from the beds. Ot really felt like we were sleeping on the floor.
